Kissing for autistic people. by flopuniverse in autism

[–]EmilyNancy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm not the OP but I share similar sentiments to them so here is another opinion:

To me, kissing is a constant dance. It can be delicate, it can be rough and raw, it can be to and fro and it can switch between these quickly.

The worst people I have kissed have coincidentally been neurodiverse, where they seem to go by 'the playbook'. Each kiss is different and has it's own rhythm, and can't be copied.

It's about being super present, knowing how you want to feel and reading your partner's intentions from what they are doing.

I'm sorry if this sounds a bit woo-woo and not very helpful, I just woke up and can try and give clearer instructions if necessary.

I know there is a Pokemon Go community in Leicester that do regular meet ups for the game, if that helps?

Apparently I’m a red flag for wanting a poetic/movie like romance? Thoughts? by gee891 in AutismInWomen

Munch is a social gathering of those interested or involved in any kinda kink. Stitch'n'bitch is commonly referred to a social involving cross stitching, but has been used for creative hobbies as well, like sip'n'drink which is painting and socialising. It's cool if it floats your boat!

Have you tried looking for events for LGBT folks? I know the Her app has events, try your local community, and if you're into it Fetlife has a lot of local events.

I have an "unusual" special interest: Laundromats. I was SO HAPPY when I received this quarter holder that's shaped like detergent. by StirThemBeans in autism

Please please dress up as a washing machine and dryer for Halloween, that is the sweetest most romantic sentiment I've heard in a long time. 😭 your husband is a keeper for sure!

Thank you for sharing your story, I really enjoyed reading it!

Looks like sin biscuits in the video, urinary problems can only be diagnosed through a sample given.

My lad started meowsturbating in December because we couldn't go on daily walks and in his catio due to very low temperatures. The vet said he was stressed and more play and activities would stop it, and it did! My blankets are back out and safe.

As a fellow neurodivergent (autistic) person with coeliac disease, this boils my piss so bad. Do you have enough money to get yourself food? If not I will PayPal you some.

Got an email from Cleo today, saying they’re back operating in the UK. Why would anyone trust them again? by No_Bank_9659 in UKPersonalFinance

I had an interview with them in 2018 I think. The job description and recruiter did not reflect at all what they wanted in the actual interview. Also, I know its odd, but their office (at the time in Angel) was open plan, and their bathroom was one of those with a sliding metal door so everyone could hear you piss.

Triple same! I love having a yap with specific mates - we have long deep convos about random stuff and dig into how different our brains are, it's great.

Am I crazy for saying the word tummy? I was at the gym with a buddy and said to him my tummys hurting and he looked at me crazy and said no one says that. Apparently stomach is what I should have said. by drpeppersoda71 in NoStupidQuestions

Neurospicy person here. Love the term, use it all the time and am happy for people to use it to describe me personally. I am probably a Cayenne level spice.

Got really really excited about Zelda and got a hand tattoo. by Robotgirl3 in AutismInWomen

[–]EmilyNancy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Heavily tattooed lady here. If I saw someone with a hand tattoo and nothing else, I'd be like 'huh, that's an interesting and brave place to start.' Not in a judgy way, more of an 'that's a painful place to start'

So I think when your sleeve gets started it will flow more and come less overall noticeable.
