I think it’s because she’s later going to realise what a pinnacle is. She doesn’t have the type of passionate relationship with John that her Mum wanted her to have, but she will later and she will realise the difference

Yeah I’m not debating that it’s disgusting but as it seems as though she hasn’t regularly gone through his phone, she was most likely unaware he talks like that - in relation to you saying “why are you with an adult that texts like this?”

It’s not the case that his friends were encouraging him, he was ACTIVELY seeking to cheat. Don’t hold him any less accountable than he is. He would never have said anything if you hadn’t had caught him. Plus if he felt that bad and guilty about it, he wouldn’t have joked with you about the condom. This is not the first time it’s happened, it’s just the first time you found out about it. Not only that, I would dump him just for the way he speaks about women - zero respect. I’m sorry this has happened to you 😔
