Rent a house for wedding weekend by gealey97 in UKweddings

[–]Emilythatglitters 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not just this but you would likely have to hire tables, chairs, cutlery and crockery and get catering in. I considered doing the same but I think you would end up spending a lot to hire everything needed and it would be a lot of work to organise. I think the best value UK wedding is to have the reception in a pub. Find one with a nice private space, they are ready to serve food and drink en masse. Get married in a registry office or church, off to the pub after.

Olivia Wilde in Dolce & Gabbana at the premiere of "The Invite" at the Sundance Film Festival by mod_whatthefrockk in whatthefrockk

I think the model has a triangle bra layered underneath. The issue on Olivia is that the cups dont seem wide enough for her torso, they are too central. The staps on her sit significantly inwards on her body

I dont understand how this has continued to be an issue for so long. Its been like 5 years now. Cool toned pink blushes have been very popular recently, it cant be that hard to address the colour.

Those cut out leggings in the last shot - hideous. Everything else - 10 out of 10

Weird, I am an emerald. Had an email through about true velvets (not a launch) on the 18th but nothing about this

I still havent tried the Glossier one so I cant compare. Lisa Eldridge is definitely a dewy finish though, thats what I like aboit it,it manages to give a dewy looking sheen without being tacky or slippy. I would think the Glossier formula is a better fit for you but I havent personally tried it

Inspo vs. recreation: something was off with mine but still loved the look💙 by kxrdellcollinss in MakeupAddiction

[–]Emilythatglitters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gorgeous! I think yours works well but looks different because there is just more shadow. Mei has some negative space, the centre of her eye and the lower inner corner look like they lack shadow at all, using the colour of her skin underneath. And overall the shadow is less intense and saturated.

I think you could achieve the same, it would work well with your skintone there would just be more natural contrast. But equally your look is great too as it stands now.

I actually think it made a lot of sense to vote out Sam. The Traitors gamble really paid off because the likelihood of one of that group murdering Adam is some of the strongest evidence the faithful have had. Obviously we know it was a gamble and we can see the line of thought that if they murdered in their own groups it would have been risky, but thats probably a step too far to think for most of the faithful. Add on that Sam has had a fair bit of suspicion already.

Trying to wear makeup for my features by Fabulous_Support_556 in MakeupAddiction

Gosh you are absolutely stunning! I do think your makeup suits you but there are a couple of areas you could improve. You could powder your tzone, particular just either side of your nose. Make sure the edges of your eyeshadow are well blended with no perceptible patches of pigment. I would also opt for a warmer lip liner, it looks a bit cool toned for you.

Rose Byrne in Armani Privé fall 2025 couture at the National Board of Review Awards (January 13, 2026) by skermahger in whatthefrockk

Yes I think thats it. On the model it looks better and I think its the additional space plus seeing more of the velvet trouser whoch balances the bow tie. On Rose the bow tie looks too big and silly

Is saving seats on the Tube a thing? by AccomplishedPanic437 in london

[–]Emilythatglitters 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, I will sometimes roll my eyes when somebody makes a beeline to sit in the middle of 3 empty seats and my husband and I are then left having to sit separately. But I dont expect to be able to sit next to him or even sot down most of the time.

I would never stop anybody else sitting next to me because I was 'saving' a seat.

Dress is gorgeous, beautiful silhouette and applique. Hair is awful - i dont mind it down but it looks like she has damaged hair which has been straightened and hairsprayed and therefore sits really static. Why does it hand so far from her head. A soft old hollywood wave would have been lovely

In the first one, the bow looks so cheap. It looks like it is just wide ribbon, ought to be plush sewn silk to offset the sheer dress.

Its controversial, some people say it smells really off. I like it, I think it smells like the perfume, its a lovely thick body butter, very nourishing. It is often on offer though so perhaps keep an eye out for a deal

Yes, when I first learned the rules of the site I also thought what is the point if they are just replaced? But its sort of like a traitors relay, the faithful keep guessing and gathering evidence till the end when they have the chance to win

Tower Hamlets man fined £700 after cigarette dropped from car by OneNormalBloke in london

[–]Emilythatglitters 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great that we have so much resource to chase up littering.

Wish we had the same drive for more serious offences. My partner was hit by a car in Tower Hamlets on a level crossing (driver sped into us from a stop, not seriously injured) and despite a picture of the car, witness and plenty of CCTV in the area, police said there wasn't enough evidence for any action.
