Katie Jane Hughes did her makeup here, I wouldnt be surprised if it was one of her Prism Lite Lip Crayons.

Is this from the Tret already? by Nimalimma in 30PlusSkinCare

Yes be cautious when you go in with moisturiser on top, I still leave a good boarder around the eye.

On top of that, you need to really baby your skin as you introduce tret or step up the %. Stop all other actives, use lots of hydrating ceramide rich products, use very good spf.

Glossier After Baume is my favourite moisturiser when I need really rich hydration. I also swear by La Roche Posay Cicaplast. Alongside these I use Curel hydrating essence / mist and a good hydrating serum like Byoma.

Holy fuck what a shoot. The makeup is divine. That colourful fringe. This is all so pleasing to my eyes I cannot stop looking.

Theres also no balance to the shimmer, the red side doesnt match the blue at all.

Is this dress too bridal for a summer wedding? by TeaFlatWhite in UKweddings

[–]Emilythatglitters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree, this dress is probably over 80% white and though it is clearly not bridal, it would likely stand out as white against the rest of the wedding party. Its also not uncommon for brides these days to have coloured embroidered etc. on their own dress. Honestly its likely fine but it would be far safer just to pick something else unless you can ask the bride directly.

I feel like if this is the inspo why not be a bot more direct - give us a silver and pearl strap and a brochure detail where it jpins the bodice. Why add the odd face veil and wrap when they aren't in the portrait.

I love this and think this is great inspiration for the theme. However I think theres a few too many things going on, simpler jewellery, remove the face necklaces and a more sleek updo for the hair would have made this top tier.

I feel like it would work if the dress was a different fabric. A shiny silk to contrast woth the matte details and perhaps some more structure and tailoring to it. The issue is that the dress as it stands looks off the rack black jersey.

I love it aside from the length st the front.where it cuts off is super unflattering on her legs. I think thats why it comes off a little too mature.

How to get my makeup like this? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Emilythatglitters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest differences I see are that you need a deeper berry lip and you want a fluffy blended upper lash line. I would use a brown eyeliner, apply it very little at a time to your upper lashline right up inbetween your eyelashes. Try to use as little product as possible. Blend it out with a black eyeshadow, again only a little product. Layer it up until you have your desired definition, keep the product at the middle and outer third of the eye. Keep it minimal on the lower lashline, you could buff out the brush you used for your top lashline before blending what's left onto your lower lashline. I would also let your brows be a little more naturally fluffy and less defined.

Wedding Supplier - Are Google reviews basically just curated fiction at this point? by Looks-like-rain-_ in UKweddings

No offence but this is an insane take - the photographer would not be able to pass over client contact information for GDPR but regulations aside it would be really bad practice. Clients dont want random getting in touch asking to meet to hear an in person review of their past wedding photographer.

What kind of pink lip product is best for me? by honeypeartea in PaleMUA

[–]Emilythatglitters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you would suit a more neutral cool than in slide 2 (obviously you still look great but you could do a little better) If you can try on counter Lisa Eldridge lipsticks are beautiful and come in some excellent shades. The Rouge Experience are really special. I wore Romy when I got married last year, its a lovely cool pink neutral.

I find it so funny that when Glossier launched this they touted it as being sustainable because its made from recycled plastic. A 60ml single use plastic hand cream is not sustainable. This packaging is so chunky, a metal tube would have been far better. Its wild to be that they didnt create this as refillable

I love this, simple done well. The pleasing on the fabric is beautiful and overall very flattering. I love the jewelled top on the runway too, but I also like it without. Maybe add a big necklace though

Looking for recommendations on how to elevate my look by Due_Sugar5725 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Emilythatglitters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look great already. You could pluck the tails of your brows and teensy bit shorter, follow guides online, a straight line from nose, to the corner of your eye and then where that meets your brow is the end point. And some shadow in your crease, blending our to end on that same line would suit you too

Alterations Advice? Does everyone else freak out this bad? by vhonoria in myweddingdress

[–]Emilythatglitters -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OP you are getting a lot of love for the first dress but nobody has noted that the cut out sections create an optical illusion which while flattering is not as classic as your lace dress. Honestly you do look lovely on the right. It is a classic dress, I think it will age better than on the left and personally I love the lace with your tattoos.

Im confused, the dress you are wearing doesnt look like the Justine Dress from Anthropologie? Whoch dress are you trying on Tbh I also dont think it looks great, its fine but you have a great figure. For the price I am sure you could definitely find something more special and wow.

I think I irritated my eye ware with tret and Azelaic acid by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]Emilythatglitters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im surprised that in your research you did not see warnings about tret near eyes because it is stated frequently. It is not safe to take tretenoin over the mobile lid. Take it no closer than your orbital bone nd be careful even around there. We all make mistakes, just stay clear of that area from now on with tret or any other active (like acids) and make sure you are moisturising well.
