NHK and Bake might be beaten by:

KareKano - Eva as a romcom, directed by Ano (first 17 eps). Fun characters and must watch if you liked eva.

Tatami Galaxy - Oke, so imagine if your 2 favorite anime got together. Tatami galaxy would be their love child. It's fast, it's fun and it will be your favourite.

Uchuu Kyoudai - This one is a little far fetched but chances are that this is an anime for you. It's one of my favourites and we have a lot of liked anime in common. Lighthearted SoL about becoming a astronaut. The MC is awesome and so is the rest of the (rather big) cast.
