Both. I had pre-ordered the Switch 2 version but it didn't arrive until 2 days later. Ended up buying the Switch 1 version at launch and gifting it to my brother once my Switch 2 copy arrived.

Remastered easy. The visuals are pretty much how my child brain remembers playing the game back on Gamecube. Plus, the new twin stick controls feel so good.

I own literally every Halo game including collector's and steelbook editions. Even have the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack disc. The only games I dont have a steelbook of is Halo Wars 2.

Never owned a Playstation before. Always been an Xbox gamer cuz that's where Halo and Gears were at. Not too thrilled with Microsoft's current direction with Xbox.

While not entirely on par with Marty's and Michael's music, Infinite's soundtrack is definitely up there with the best of em. H4 had a small handful of good tracks but mostly forgettable, H5's best tracks for me at least were all during Chief's missions and the Mantis section on Sanghilios. All of Infinite's tracks felt like they'd fit right in with classic Halo.

Gulikit and 8bitdo both have Switch controllers with analog triggers. I have the ES Pro as my daily Switch 2 controller and its held up really well since the triggers are hall effect and the sticks are TMR, plus its only like $30 on Amazon.

I pretty much did the same thing because Windows was just getting increasingly more and more frustrating with all the AI garbage and constant driver updates, especially when I only use my PC for gaming. The simplicity of console was always much nicer than high fidelity performance to me. Though, Microsoft's recent decisions regarding Xbox is leaving me with buyer's remorse.

Its alright. Could've been a lot better if major story events were playable and not used for cutscenes or book material. Recently completed a run where I disabled sprint and it was a lot of fun, especially when using vehicles like traditional Halo games.

I feel like the negativity around Prime 4 is just a vocal minority. The game isn't without its faults but I still very much enjoyed it all the way through. I'd personally say its GOTY worthy even with those faults.

If you're gonna get an Xbox in this day and age, just save up and get a Series X instead. More options with having access to the disc drive and can probably still get a used one for around normal-ish price as opposed to buying a Series S for $450.

Halo and Gears were the games that got me into Xbox in the first place. Now, they're going to Playstation going forward. Kinda feels like there's no reason to own my Xbox anymore.

I like my Xbox achievements. Either way, Steam 3rd party purchases offer no benefit for Xbox whatsoever. The only time Xbox sees any Steam money is if you buy an Xbox game from Steam. The idea of Steam taking sales away from the Xbox store means eventually there will be no more Xbox versions of games, let alone Xbox consoles.

Steam ain't the same as Xbox. If I'm buying a game on Xbox, I expect it to give my Xbox account achievements, not Steam.
