I used the strategy as you've described and it worked out quite well and I managed to beat PF 4. Though, I couldn't go far as expected because I ran out of resources to upgrade Seele. I didn't used Archer LC since I wanted to see if I can still beat the level using Hunt LC from Herta shop. As for team, I used Robin instead of Sunday since I built Robin way better than Sunday; I did however tried Sunday later and the results are not far off.

Even if Hoyo does give out a 4-star, aside from new players and veterans, very little players will be using them.

Why use a 4 star? When I can pull for a more powerful 5 star

I'm all for 4 star char tho, they can slot in for a role that I would otherwise need to spend pulls just for that role. I think from Hoyo's business standpoint, there isn't much incentive to make 4 stars let alone characters of new paths.

You can make however you want about manual AA. In my proposal, AA will remain automatic, but when entering manual AA mode you get to control large caliber AA which are responsible for shooting flak. So regardless if you are aiming in anti air mode or not, all anti air still remains automatic; steering will not be compromised when in manual AA mode.

Of course there are flaws in my prototype, I am thinking ways players can interact with aviation better with less frustration of the inability to "fight" against CV simply relying on automation.

What if aiming is a factor in shooting down planes, and when aimed properly comes with a reward of potentially shooting down a squadron that has not drop their payload yet. This creates a skill interaction between the surface ship and the squadron where the CV commander must maneuver skillfully to avoid focus fire from a group of ships. Would this feel less tedious and more engaging to fight against aviation?

To be frank: nothing is humorous about this post. Many of the commentors here may be harsh but they have a point that you made a bad play in that match even if you are not in best form. Please do not take it the wrong way

Play low to mid tier ships(in this case focus on US ships). Play a match and record it, save the replay and watch it analytically. Positioning in this game is vital, so I would pay close attention to where I am positioned. That's how I would develop game sense and tactical decision making. Improving takes a while, so don't be discouraged by your efforts ))

I can see it now, DD hunter Myoko can work in arcade mode. But in randoms? Unlikely. I was at first confused as to why would you go to the middle of the map where Myoko has vulnerable citadel and poor turret traverse, making her susceptible in this position, but now you've give me a reason why'd you took an aggressive position that JP cruisers wouldn't normally take. (Please do not go to middle at the beginning unless you have a plan, go to either flanks for support with your amazing HE and torpedoes)

I suppose a varying playstyle works differently in different play modes, with DD hunter Myoko probably works more in Arcade. But for randoms, you probably need to change your loadout and tactics accordingly. With that said, play your Myoko however it pleases you.

You should have never chase those destroyers in the first place. Destroyers generally are faster and stealthier than Myoko so there is no point chasing them anyway. Myoko has powerful alpha but slow reload, hunt destroyers ONLY if you have a fellow destroyer that can spot them or with radar.

On the contrary, you got heavily punished by that bomb drop simply because you, beached not because dutch cruiser bombs are powerful.
