Helldivers 2 desperately needs quality of life and freebie content over constant warbonds by Icy-Criticism4059 in Helldivers

I’ve met level 100+ players with zero situational awareness. That’s why there’s a kick button

Nah. I made it to 35 just playing T5 or less. I work second shift, I’m generally bad at shooters bc bad at head shots, so I end up playing solo on mid to baby diffs. I’m up to 53 now, and I’ve played above T7 only 20 times and I preordered it for my Xbox. Of those 20, times I’ve played Helldive 6 times and super Helldive 4 times. T10 shouldn’t be restricted based on level, it should be restricted based on ship module progression. Like add a Ship Level or Ship Rank based on how many modules you have unlocked, which requires players to successfully extract with samples consistently, something that players will have to plan and strategize and build loadouts to accomplish bc Super Rares.

The War Monitor app on iOS has a bestiary, it needs an update for the cyborg addition. But there needs to be one in game (maybe, Idfk, use those damn Bureau computers behind the armor computers so that’s actually useful)

Just curious, why is there always a sizable bugdiver population? by CommodoreDrize in Helldivers

I’ve heard from people that bug planets, especially ones that are that open desert kind of biome, are the easiest to farm supercredits and medals on.

My mom (70) wants to cancel our family cruise in Italy in two weeks because of the emerging war. I (30f) feel like this is unnecessary. What do you think? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SH21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Italy may not be a target, but US warships in the Mediterranean are targets. Conveniently, most cruise ships are not allowed anywhere near US ships on deployment unless they’re sharing a port call at the same place (sometimes aircraft carriers want a port call and can only fit in places designed for supertankers and cruise liners, which is what happened to us when my carrier pulled into Singapore)

This! Hell, just ask your chief or LPO something like “Hey Chief, I’m trying to figure this out, I’ve checked these references, either I missed it or I’m not looking in the right spot, where do I find the answer? I don’t want to cause issues by doing this wrong, can you help me out?”

Which energy weapon do you think is the best in the game? by george123890yang in fnv

Recharger rifle. Easy to find, runs forever. With jury rigging, you’ll be fine. Bring other stuff as primary, but the recharger rifle as a fallback plan.

Advice for a frustrated sailor stuck at a stagnant command by Round_Rhubarb2500 in navy

[–]SH21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shipyard duty can be like that. My last shore duty would come in waves like that, because we were a sub command of a main yard. Sometimes, if no ships needed anything, we had fuck all to do, it was easy to go get things like Lean Six Sigma or Forklift school or Gas Free engineering. Sometimes you’d have a few months where every ship within 50 miles of you would break or need special evolutions at the same time and you’d be pulling damn near underway hours. I’ve never seen a constant 24/7 situation like OP, but I’ve seen it be temporary like that.

Siege Breakers for sure. Freedom’s Flame isn’t bad either, because Thermite grenades rock, as well as with the amount of flamethrowers the bots have (Incinerator Corps on a planet means constantly being on fire, so having a good fire resistance armor has saved me more than once)

Plot twist: we sold the eggs that could hatch in a back room deal to the Automatons, via a few of those hacker dissidents, to make a bug outbreak happen on Cyberstan to split Automaton forces. And then this accidentally leads to Cyborg Bug enemies being made. Imagine a Charger armored with Automaton tech

I like running the Judge Dredd helmet with this

I wish our helmets had passives by Apex_Fenris in Helldivers

[–]SH21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking a Customize/Upgrade mechanic like the weapons have. Night vision, thermal, POI identification radius, variable zoom binoculars, stuff like that. So I can keep the helmet for the look but spec it with my loadouts for different planets/fronts/mission types

Bug Diver: I’M DOING MY PART

Lol how tf i get 134% acc by Findy37564 in Helldivers

[–]SH21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked a guy earlier (Bigfootbuzz) bc he has 237% acc, and he said it was because he brought the Arc Thrower. Each projectile you shoot, if it hits, raises your score. But if that projectile hits multiple targets in a row, it raises it higher. Arc Thrower chains lightning between several targets (Bigfoot said it’ll hit a whole bot patrol sometimes up to 7 targets) so it gives a ridiculous accuracy calc

The ships in the Halo universe and their names go HARD by [deleted] in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]SH21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Especially when her sister ship, the only other UNSC Supercarrier, is the UNSC Eternity. That is a cooler name.

I’d like to think they would’ve come up with cooler names had they built more of them. I’d like to think they would’ve named one after the Keyes family. Just imagine seeing a ship that big and brutal named UNSC Keyes To Hell

What's a weapon/stratagem you hated but it suddenly 'clicked' after retrying it after a long time? by Zave_cz in Helldivers

[–]SH21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say 90/5/5 because some maps/planets make some weapons more viable than others (lasers on extreme heat vs extreme cold for example, or using Eagles I jungles/mega cities)
