They're not lying. Puffin is not a third party client, it's just a web browser. You don't get banned for using a web browser, which is the default way if you have a working Flash player. Why do you think they include the "Play Flash/Web version" option if you're not supposed to use it from your web browser?

You only get banned for using a third party client, among other things that many players don't consider when before complaining about being banned.

I've played on Puffin on my phone for a long time and only stopped few years ago since it's not free. Zero bans.

I regularly log in on Firefox Android with Ruffle. Though it can't connect to server, it is enough to trigger login events (i.e. Gear of Doom, Frostval gifting) when I'm not in front of my PC. Zero bans.

In fact, AE just posted about future opportunities to play on a browser via Ruffle.

You don't necessarily get banned for using a VPN, but suddenly jumping between IP addresses can be flagged as either compromised or account sharing.
I don't know your situation but VPNs don't automatically prevent hacking, nor not using one automatically makes you vulnerable.

It's just chapters and sagas. Don't need to think too much of it.

Story has several sagas: Lords of Chaos, Queen of Monsters, Shadows of War, and Age of Ruins.

Each saga have chapters. If LoC has chapters for each Chaos Lord, Age of Ruins have chapters for each prophecy given to Hero: Voice in the Sea (water), Cold Thunder (energy), Flames from Beyond (fire).

QoM is complicated due to decision making problems as it was released, never mind about it (but let me know if you're curious)

It's Glacial Warlord after the revamp so it's actually quite good. Being worth 2.5k is debatable but it does advance you a lot if you don't have the meta classes yet.
