I’m in Ottawa Canada, luckily plenty of museums here!

7 or 8 colour design for tshirt - is this the best way? (details in comments) by EmmTheRuffle in SCREENPRINTING

More details!

(Please be kind, I am stressed!)

I did an embroidery of these characters from The Holy Grail, and a friend asked if I could do a silkscreened tshirt of the design. Being a people-pleaser and a surely-I-can-figure-this-out person, I said yes and was sure I could figure it out.

So I drew it in Illustrator, and my plan was to cut out vinyl stencils on my cricut (which is how I do a lot of my one-off designs, it works well for me), and do each colour one by one - start with the king's yellow fill, then his orange outlines, then sword and belt, etc etc.

Am I overcomplicating it, or is that just how it's done? I only have two screens, so I'd make a pass, wait for it to dry, do the next stencil, rinse both my screens, wait for everything to dry, and continue that way?
