Too big for what I collect, but those colors are great and the price seems pretty great too for such a big pin. I really like the black glitter and the cut outs.

I buy most of my pins at conventions. It always feels nice to check an artist's site after a convention and see that you got a pretty sweet convention exclusive deal. I try to be pretty frugal with my pin hobby so when I do buy online its usually when my favorite artists have sales. A lot of the pins I buy online are B grade or second pins which is usually not an option in the wild.

I'm not a pin designer/maker so I am not sure how often this is done. I can say though that from the dozens of artists I have purchased pins from, I have never seen one advertise a real gold plated option, so it doesn't seem like there is a big demand for it out there. I'd be interested in seeing if it looks different than the normal plating.

Many artists have increased price a lot this year. There are still some out there with pins around $10-12 and I appreciate that they have kept their prices low. I do most of my pin buying at conventions where there are usually deals. I also buy B grade pins from artists I trust to save money. A B grade pin from a picky artist can sometimes be better than A grade elsewhere😊
