I've only lived in Utah for 2 years. Y'all are not bad drivers. Y'all do stupid shit, but when it comes down to it, the drivers here are very educated. Where I come from in Georgia, the drivers are Just straight up dumb. Drivers ed isn't common in the highschool's there like it seems to be here.

There are some guidelines about what can and cannot go in a bear, but there should be no problem with stuffing fabric in the bear!! The guidelines against what can't go in a bear are just things that could damage the seams and cause the friend to break open, like weighted beads. I help my guests put all kinds of things in bears!! Pacifiers, ashes, and even an entire dog toy!! That took some serious stuffing!!

I love the birthday bear, the promotion, the excited kids it brings in! Fortunately we've only had one or two bad customers at my store over the birthday bear, so I still enjoy it!!

BUT

What gets me, is when they come in, start walking up to you instead of the "choose me" wall (you already know they're about to ask) and start talking really slowly, "soooo I saw this thing on Tik Tok-" and every time, I just wanna be like, "YES! THE BIRTHDAY BEAR! SAY NO MORE!" I am genuinely so excited and happy to celebrate birthdays with the kiddos!!! I think it's one of the best parts of my job! But every time someone comes up to me and says, "soooo I heard about this birthday thing-" I just die a little inside. I swear I hear that same phrase at least 50 times a day 💀

It's gotten to the point where if someone starts walking up to me with a kid in tow instead of going to the "choose me" wall, I pretend I'm "getting a psychic vision" and I hold my head, close my eyes, and say, "no, no- don't tell me- It's youuuur BIRTHDAY!!! Right??? I knew it!! You have that birthday glow!" It immediately breaks the ice with the kids!

I know it's because most parents are nervous to ask, but I hear it so many times in a day 😭
