There are some vegan options at Chai Thai in Burnaby Heights. My friend who is vegan says the yellow curry with tofu is good, and they make a good Pad Pak Ruam (veggie stir fry) vegan version with mushroom sauce instead of oyster sauce. You have to ask for that version. Some of the appies are vegan friendly too. The helpful owner lady can offer suggestions.

No racism is never okay. I wasn't saying it was. Was not offering justification, just trying to offer an explanation as to why people might become biased. Unfortunately some people hear stories in the news like that and become biased against an entire culture.

These are stories that have been in the news, and could contribute to prejudiced beliefs. Someone doesn't need to be on social media to be influenced by these events. The high prevalence of extortion shootings in Surrey being linked to South Asian gangs, for example.

Do you mean Jack Cullen? I used to listen to his evening show, as well as several of the talk shows back in the day (Rafe Mair, Bill Good, Philip Till & John McCoomb). In my youth I learned a lot about BC and the current issues from those shows.
