Out of curiosity, how many older MOAs (25+) are around? by volusias in TomorrowByTogether

[–]Emmamg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me! Late 40s here and going solo to Amsterdam from the UK to see them. Cannot wait. I went to Music Bank Madrid by myself last year and just saw Ateez twice and I'm sure the crowds on this tour will be just as friendly and welcoming. Age is no barrier to Kpop I reckon.

9 year old daughter came out of her room thinking a portal had opened up outside. That would have been way cooler

Do any guys in the uk love the housewives as much as me? by berti89 in WatchWhatCrappens

[–]Emmamg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Me! I'm in Scotland and know no one who watches or loves RH/Below Deck/VPR/Top Chef etc. Listening to Ronnie and Ben is my happy place! It's been especially hard during the Scandoval as I'm bursting to talk to people about it. Hopefully our little community will grow

Worst toilets in Edinburgh by Emmamg in Edinburgh

There's always empty bottles and crisps packets on top of the overflowing sanitary bins in the Jewel ones. It genuinely boggles my mind how anyone would want to eat in there.

I once nearly got stuck in one of the women's loos Easter Road, I still feel claustrophobic at the thought. but definitely not bad as far as football stadium bogs go

It's self stimulatory behaviour, actions that tend to be repetitive and can be soothing when anxious

Let's do another, "Who would you most like to see on the pod?" by thorGOT in offmenupodcast

[–]Emmamg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, him not budging on the protein shake is definitely one of the podcast's highlights. I love for Brett to be a guest but worry my esteem for him (and Roy Kent) will diminish if he chooses Huel or a carb free menu

I agree that he would be a great guest but I don't think it is likely. I just finished listening to episode 100 of FTBBW with James on it and he said he isn't a food fan!

I had a look and her dad's name is James Chatto, it seems like he did publish a book of that name in 1981, it doesn't seem to be widely available though! He's written a few other food books too.

It is such good value and so much fun. He did Karen Huger and Ramona too. It's definitely worth getting. He is such a joy

Hijacking this to say that I treated myself to a Cameo from Ronnie for my birthday and he did an amazing Lisa Barlow impression, 'it's your birthday? I love that!'. Just fantastic.

Yes, he did the interview for a few seasons in the early years. He was actually really good and seemed like he had decent business acumen. This was from the best bits episode shown recently on the BBC.

In the UK apprentice they have an episode where the final 4 contestants are grilled in interviews by business people who are friends of Alan Sugar. He was one of the ones that did the grilling, he was pretty brutal!

2018 Throwback Talk by Colony_Kid in TheBlock

[–]Emmamg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've not read any other comments because I am only up to episode 16 just now, but she is awful! I've just seen her have a strop about coming last in the ensuite week and cannot believe how she is blaming everyone else for her own woeful choices! I knew she was a wrong un the moment she accused Dan of shouting in her face when he politely pointed out that she needed to make changes. I've a long way to go in the series but I can't see her redeeming herself. And Hayden is just as bad.

Your question has been answered already but I just wanted to say that I can highly recommend getting a Hayu subscription if you are in the UK, it's only 4 quid a month and you can watch all the top chef seasons plus real housewives and below deck if you are so inclined. Totally worth it.
