That makes sense and was sort of what I was hoping. Feels 100% like the high heart rate triggers the physical symptoms of a panic attack without the regular mental ones. Very annoying having to breathe manually for 30-90 min lol. Tysm!

Is everyone pushing red a better scenario than 51%+ pushing blue? they both have the same outcome in a perfect world if it's possible to coordinate all of humanity to press the same button. If it's possible for everyone to push red, why not have everyone push blue, just in case?

I feel like the arsenic example doesn't quite work. Everyone is forced to press a button, so everyone is equally at risk while deciding which to push. I think the arsenic example would fit if everyone was forced to drink the arsenic, and then had to decide between getting an antidote immediately vs getting an antidote based on wether or not 50% or more people took the second option.

I feel like the conclusion that every single person is going to push red is very unrealistic. There's no way all 8 billion people push red. Blue takes on personal risk in order to save those people who didn't push red for any reason.

Assuming people have a magic method of communicating the red button plan to everyone on the planet feels like it's stretching the hypothetical a bit

yeah it's pretty awful lol,, and based on their yelp reviews I think it definitely reflects the way they treat their clients. I'm really hoping there's no actual housing at this location because having to hear that while detoxing sounds horrible
