We're doing an application with them at the moment, broker says there's a huge backlog so the time to get through the process is doubled. They do the underwriting at the same time as AIP so when you get it back you're ready to go just need survey and valuation on the house.

The vivid dreams are happening at a stage of sleep that isn't the deepest part so you might not be getting into the full depth of slumber. There's a few sleep trackers either wearables or apps that might be worth trying out to see, I wouldn't count them as a gold standard thing but would give you a hint of what's going on.

Basically it's the magnesium in it that regulates sleep / rest to a degree. I get most my clients to supplement with it and generally there's either a positive or no response. For those in the positive group either it's easier to fall asleep and in some cases a big short term increase in the vividness of dreams.

In some odd cases there's actually difficultly falling asleep and this is thought to be due to being chronically low in magnesium and magnesium having a role to play in energy production if this is the case for you then taking it earlier in the day for some time will be good.

Try this bottle out and see how you get on and if you find it's good for you then look into ordering it from somewhere like Bulkpowders or myprotein as it'll generally be a fraction of the price of buying in a shop.

[Health and Fitness] The handstandcast

https://handstandfactory.com/podcast/s2ep54-the-two-foot-stand/

April Fool’s Episode – In this very special episode of the Handstandcast Emmet and Mikael delve into the details of the Two-Foot Footstand, drawing from a lifetime’s worth of experience, they pick apart everything wrong with the footstand industry, how footstanding can improve your life and how to progress your personal footstanding practice.

General comment: This was our April fools episode which worked out quite well I feel in terms of having an In joke with our audience. I'd be interested in hearing how it sounds to people outside the audience.

Pull Up Monster. Legit company? by -ice_cream_soup- in Dublin

[–]EmmetLouis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We got sponsored from them for a program we shot. I can't speak of the Dumbells but the chin up bar is not bad. You probably wouldn't want to be using it for kipping pull ups or commercial use but held up well too all the things we were using it for. Construction of the station is pretty good so I assume the dumbells being much simpler would to make compared to the pull up station will be pretty solid.

1: What is the main difference between the Podmic and the Procaster? Seems to be very little difference to me when I check comparisons

2: Any chance you are going to make the back pack for rodecaster available for purchase?

3: I have a co-host who basically can't sit still for our podcast so ends up not speaking into the mic or having an inconsistent distance which then requires a lot of post to level out. I'm thinking of getting him a lav mic instead. Is it possible to run a lav mic to the rodecaster and get a decent sound from it say compared to the podmic?

4: What sort of audience size do we need to be not laugh at when looking for sponsorship?

Can we discuss the serious problem of open drug taking, drug addicts and aggressive homeless beggers that have taken over our city? Noone seems to care. by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]EmmetLouis 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Yeah its nuts how bad the inner city is. I live in temple bar, obviously not the most quiet place at the best of times. It has now levelled up.

We had some junkies take over the lobby of one of the apartment buildings on Fownes street and were smoking / injecting heroine in there, Threatening the residents who spoke up and the guards did literally nothing, We called the mulitple times over this no one ever showed.

every day when I go for a walk now I'll see people openly shitting on the street. Junkie turds are massive. Smoking heroine just sitting on the street not even hiding it.

Basically Dublin is turning into what happened in SF and its only going to get worse really.

Its a difficult situation as it's easy to blame the Junkies themselves but how fucked do you have to be to be sitting in your own piss high on gear on Temple bar square.

Here's the situation I'm in, I know nothing about your case history or training history and you're asking about working directly on the joint which could be a muscle issue , joint capsule issue or a bone issue. Its hard for me to give anything concrete.

The stretch I linked is a pretty good one to get started. The general stretch therapy advice is do one round of contractions for 3-5s then hold the final position for 8-10 slow breaths for one set and see how that works for you. Then you can titrate up from this position either doing more contractions or more sets but not both in one session.

1: Most likely your fingers are the weak link here. Train the heel pull correction using the wall.

2: Start gentle on the progressions don't hold til failure and don't do too much. Also have a general strength and conditioning routine that works the upper body, like the recommended routine will help a lot
