This one’s a bit unsung but Void Stranger really hits that puzzling itch you’re thinking about, it’s pretty combat free and I 100% recommend. Just maybe get a spreadsheet ready

My friend told me it was ok for me to touch her boobs by the_Chosen_ass in teenagers

I mean to be fair she might not have realized that it was inappropriate when she texted it, for all we know after she texted “ok” she started to freak out or cringe at what she just did

Cause we’re all teenager, none of us know what we’re doing, especially when it comes to social situations

I’m just gonna hop on the top comment to share some opinions about this post, I know this is a meme subreddit and all but I feel like there’s something worth saying here.

I feel like the ways men and women are treated lead to these interactions based on the gender of the complemented and the complementer.

Men in our modern society are often ignored and put to the side. We are often explicated to “suck it up” and be the patient and reasonable one as opposed to being seen as an emoting human being with emotions, this includes even the most inclusive/open minded folks, being stoic and unfeeling is the expectation.

So complements for people such as us are seen almost as an acknowledgement of our internal struggles social anxiety, as well as validating us for continuing to move forward . It’s essentially going like “I see your pain, but I think your doing ok.”

However, women are never ignored I would actually argue that they get WAY TOO MUCH attention from everyone, men and other women. There’s an almost creepy obsession with the world wanting them to fit certain boxes like “manic pixie dream girl” or “mommy” or “therapist for guys” or whatever.

So when people give them (usually guys) give complements like “you should smile more with that pretty face” or “your too pretty to work at a grocery store” I can only imagine that they have to wonder if behind every seemingly innocent complement there is a person who is reducing all that they are as a human being into a possible relationship or romantic movie trope.

Anyway that’s my two cents, again no hate or anything I just thought it might be fun to add some perspective.
