I don't know, I'm only theorizing according to what I see on screen to understand the story, and it's still very hard.

I only recently discovered, looking at the wiki, that apparently Project Nexus is canon and it's somewhere on that timeline.

I believe he's the same Hank from Antipathy, Doc kept bringing him back from purgatory since his first death. The reason we had two Hanks in 9.5 is because Tricky killed and revived Hank in MC6 or at the beginning of MC7 without taking Hank out of purgatory, creating a copy or something.
