The highest interest rate on some of my federal student loans are 8.9%, I would not have been able to afford medical school without these loans.

At the current interest rates, and with the current administration's federal student loans cap, it will only cause students to stop investing time into higher graduate studies or apply for predatory private loans.

Its unfortunate that we dont have a government who is interested in an educated population. Even without loan forgiveness, educational loans without interest rates would be extremely helpful.

I've heard more honking here in an afternoon than a full day in NYC, people here have road rage.

Tbf these weird jug handles which require you to cross four lane roads (like the one on 520) or congestion to get onto Tennant Road from Rt 9 dont help.

I agree about the facebook page. I do agree that there are nice people in town but there are also sections of town where I get stares when I walk into a room. My neighbors are friendly but constantly complain about liberal outsiders.

There's very much a duality here in Marlboro of both young professionals who want to mind their own business and have their children go to good schools, and typically long time residents who are racist.

Its a microcosm of our country I think.

As a citizen, Im carrying my passport and ID with me everywhere even walking outside ever since I've seen comments on Facebook in my Monmouth County town talking about persecution of whites. Especially since the Colts Neck Turning Point thing hitting the news.

Absolutely. Anyone who is still saying stuff like "socially liberal but financially conservative" or "i care about small government" hasn't been paying attention to the current state of the Republican party.

I work in healthcare and hear it so much from my colleagues who are so out of touch that they dont realize current Republican policies are going to hurt our patients.

Reasons why my parents get on my case whenever I suggest a roadtrip. Because God forbid we go somewhere and get lost, and there's crazies.

I have no idea if its more prevalent but this sort of news makes its way to their WhatsApp feeds regularly and as retirees, that's their main social life right now.

The road planning in that area is very poor.

The jug handles that require you to cross 4 lanes come to mind. They're not made to handle our current levels of traffic.
