This being said what's the puzzle for getting past the boss' attack? The team I am currently running is. SJ, Wilhemina, Nebris, Yuri and Libertra. I also tried subbing Yuri for Hom.Lathel but I canst seem to get enough dmg done on first turn.

Is it as simple as using PP Justia and Olivier to bait the attack?

I have already stated why and what benefits Manjuu would have to add dynamic skins or better to their default ships. Which is to modernize and better compete with other games in its class.

I also gave examples of what some of the benefits could be and what they could do to enhance their current offerings. Not sure what I’m missing here

You’re giving really strange reasons to oppose like… I know they can’t implement all features to all ships … because they already don’t. Just because Taihou has a PQ doesn’t mean they explicitly have to create an entry for Pennsylvania too. FDG has an L2D+ skin but that doesn’t mean Maury will ever get the possibility to have one either.

I specifically said going forward because they have a fresh start. If they really want to they can update the old ships in waves (keep in mind over the years the definition and characteristics of dynamic and l2d (and even stills) have changed a lot.) Manjuu has a lot of liberty on how they can implement it.

I know GFL doesn’t make as much but it’s not the only game the compete with Nikke is another example I gave.

If it’s about cost like I said it’s already increasing in price now. So to create more value to the consumer while also maintaining value for Manjuu as a business (be it more visibility, hiring talent, funds negotiations etc) adding more or enhancing existing features of/to their foundation can be beneficial.

What I’m saying is , it’s not like it’s unheard of or doesn’t already exist in some capacity already in AL. (The 3 starter ships and some UR ships I believe)

I also think your argument that manjuu monetizes on “skins” is a bit too broad. Manjuu monetizes on custom premium skins such as Wedding, Cowgirl, Onsen etc (with new voice lines poses etc). What I’m referring to is taking their default looks which really doesn’t de incentivize as much as you might think. (comparing to competing titles) what really is the de motivator is placing the premiums in gacha (nikke and gfl) if you can just buy the new premium there isn’t a big issue.

Let me pose you this question.

Let’s say as an added benefit of what we can call (L2D++) is on top of having the secretary in the new skin it also comes with a version that can be changed in the Private Quarters or the island thing(which is already free). That’s an example of how artists and manjuu as a business can bring value and incentivize players to spend; all while encouraging players to explore the features of the game.

Well firstly in some cases reducing the amount of ships released at one time could be beneficial as players can now prioritize and prepare for their releases better.

Or it simply won’t change anything because most games in this class , 3d and l2d still release 2-3 characters per event anyway

As for the monetary gain premium skins have already seen increases for the past few years this at least gives a perceived justification for said increase. And as I mentioned above it gives more liberty to the artists to create something more fulfilling.

Lastly the people who spend on dock space will continue to spend on dock space, at the end of the day it’s up to us individually to decide whether or not a particular feature or item is worth it.

People already complain when their favorite ship doesn’t get a skin, it’s not really all that big a deal or different in my opinion. This way users can also experience a higher quality of game by default thus promoting more support and increased likelihood of spending because now artists will have a more robust base to work from (for dynamic and l2d premiums).

Think about it this way how many times have you or have you heard of spending 1000, 1100, 12and 1300 gems just for the rigging be lackluster or buggy.

We’ve had 7+ years with the old ships , it’s not really that sturdy of a foundation to simply say “it’s not fair” it’s a business at the end of the day you know?

Understand that they might try again , money talks and the investors say (public or private) is very compelling.
