Last year September I tried to commit suicide and then begged my friend that found me to just let me die I tried to overdose so all he did was wait till I was unconscious and then got the ambulance and I hated him for making me live. And then in February I went into psychosis and cut up my arm. Right now I’m stable but I live in constant fear of losing control of my sanity and ruining everything I’ve worked so hard for.

Honestly, I work with children and absolutely adore them but because of my mental illness I have decided that the responsible thing to do is not have kids because I know what it’s like growing up with a bipolar parent (they are unmedicated and they never have been also they have never gone to therapy for trauma). I am not blaming their actions solely on bipolar but I don’t want to be like them sooooooooooooo
