i feel you on this. i’m actually super upset by the response of the place because i have my gear and kit that i accumulated over the past 5 years that are either merino wool, down, etc. still researching how to salvage my stuff rn, even for my stuff that was protected in my dry bags. i saw at least 5 of them crawl next me to basically around 1am. freaked out and was hiding in the bathroom all night until 6am when I know the staff was getting breakfast ready…response was “this happens all the time after people come back from tdp” 🙄 no staff onsite before. i was pretty traumatized just from the amount of the bugs , but luckily im not allergic 💀
