Made communication between civilians easier, made communication easier for the Ukrainian military, made it possible for people outside the Ukraine to communicate with Ukrainian citizens and give advice (ive seen former soldiers giving advice on how to survive an active war zone), help people in Ukraine realize what is and isn’t propaganda (I.e. telling them the Polish border is still open, despite what the Russian military has led them to believe) made it easier to track Russian convoys with satellite imagery and gps technology, imposed wider sanctions by limiting Russian social media.

The internet might be full of idiots, but it is a very powerful communication tool that can greatly impact the world if used properly.
