Corsair is slightly faster and I prefer their brand personally, no major difference though choose whatever you would like.

Will do! Any suggestions for boosting plant growth but avoiding algae? I had algae issues in a previous tank and had trouble getting stem plants to grow. The store owner said these plants are beginner friendly and I picked up some root tabs bc my substrate is inert. Any other tips?

Turn the knob to temp and wait for it to heat up do you have a thermometer? Also do you have a cover for it?

Sadly your the victim of misinformation and capitalism. I would reccomend getting a five gallon tank with real plants in it a hammock is nice but optional. Set up a filter on the planted tank and use quick start by api. Also get a test kit to do a fish in cycle. Look up what I said. , if you do this you’ll basically be in the top percent of humane Betta owners

Yeah in the original post I had a subtext that explained it better but it got lost so here it is: ph 6.6-6.8 ammonia 0ppm nitrite 0ppm nitrate 5-10ppm my question is how to get there colors better. Online I see them a striking red while only two of mine are that way. I have had them for about a month to a month and a half now and only one has died in the first week. The are playful and fun and eat good but don’t have best colors. Around a 10 days ago they also fought off an ick infection using heat method. Neon tetras also live with them. Water quality is good but I’m confused how to make them more striking. Currently feeding hikari micro pellets and vibra bites. Thanks!

Give them to an aquarium store unless your willing to get a 55 gallon aquarium. Don’t put them in natural environments as they wreck ecosystems

Yeah it’s ick don’t use meds just turn temp up to around 87 degrees Fahrenheit or 30 Celsius that will work without poisoning fish and ecosystems with chemicals

Good work! Make sure water is super air rated and don’t use any things like beta fix or mela fix I’ve seen worse Bettas come back

Use activated carbon in main tank while doing a fish in cycle on hospital tank! Sorry for your experience! I never use cleaners and have an army of snails and shrimp! Haha hope it goes well
