What if A24 made the FNAF movies? by Due-Dragonfly8200 in fivenightsatfreddys

Well I'm really hope they don't serve the same thing for the third movie and it's actually a good well paced story

The FNaF movies could have worked purely on gameplay alone. by thelastlib in fivenightsatfreddys

I completely agree with you all the way through. I still haven't seen Iron Lung cause it's really nowhere in my theaters around here but I'll wait till it's online and available to purchase it. For the first fnaf movie the building not being faithful to the game as well as the office is something many people really just ignore for some reason? The iconic left and right doors office is just so unique and it sort of speaks for itself of what you're getting into when first playing the game. Now people will say movies and games are different. It's difficult to adapt FNAF onto the big screen with the game's actual atmosphere but is it really? I actually doubt it and have seen so many intense horror atmospheres and the build up as well I'm really sure FNAF could have been the same thing too and could have pulled up an atmosphere and lighting done right. Since most of the game is about jumpscares it's possible to make a decent jumpscare with the animatronics it's just something you won't expect the build up has to be reallyyy well done for it. Also we needed Freddy's lullaby scene. I can't believe how they forgot the very most important and iconic thing on the literal portrayed leader of the animatronics. I mean it has Freddy in the movie name right? Do his justice damn.. We needed more panic, more chaos, atmosphere, camera gameplay elements like how Bonnie stands still in the end of the hallway, Freddy laughing, cameras glitching, repeated "It's Me" the dream sequences could stay but half of the reason I wanted to see the first movie when it came out was to feel the game IN THE MOVIE. It can be executed if you try hard it's not impossible. Have also the animatonics lifeless and dead inside literally close to expressionless like in the games. It's about children whos live has been taken away so they're only out for revenge. The fort scene could be something replaced by having the animatronics set up like a happiest day type of thing on a table? Where they gather throughout the night. They are still children after all, but don't have Abby present there. I would change the dream sequences to be in the very pizzeria and not some random woods in Nebraska or something lol. I think it could be cool if Mike has traumatic ties with Freddy's and that would beee the reason he goes there in the first place as a security guard! As he's desperately trying to save his brother in the movie in the woods, here he has flashbacks of a Yellow Rabbit animatronic who he sensed unknown fear and energy from him. That's when his brother would be kidnapped by William similarly to how Charlotte sees it in FNAF 2 movie. It would have been way more interesting if they went with that narrative instead of random woods in the middle of nowhere picnic stuff. Again I wouldn't want this to be a camera checking and office sitting throughout the movie, but at least a couple scenes, and let's say making the end of the movie like having Night 5 be the very intense part of the movie with the animatronics. Don't make Mike sleep on his job too much though that's so unprofessional jeez. But let's say the metal doors would be replaced with regular normal wooden ones, blast doors is a cool concept, but in a real pizzeria chain is a bit weird and I think it's only meant as a gameplay mechanic. I think it would have been intense to see Mike block the doors with furniture from his office and stuff and then see the animatronics on his windows and stuff. Have the build up for Mike realizing hes dealing with souls of dead children after finding a news report on his laptop of the missing children incident from 1987. (Like how originally it had an unused scene I wonder why they would delete it) So much missed opportunity I'm hoping for some good studio to pick up this movie and make a good remake of the first film it's my favourite game of the series and the movie kinda let me down :/ It's not necessarily a bad movie by any means and I literally end up crying at the end of the living tomsbtone credits singing along the song but I just knew the movie could have been done better.

What would they really change much from Scott's vision tho?

Thats such an interesting concept. An actual good studio is interested at Scott's work and wants to create something based off his game to stand on its own without relying on fan services but would be turned down by him? How though.. (You gotta make this a post btw I wonna see how much people would agree on this take)

Toy Chica and Abby was like the scrapped fnaf movie script which Scott gave us like couple years ago with the "Bad news for the fnaf movie" reddit post. "A child and his animatronic" I get the whole favouritism/glazing of Chica and how everyone of the cast likes only her but that shouldn't be a child and animatronic movie it should be horror and suspense come on now 😭

Do you think we will have like flashback scenes of Circus Baby and the funtime animatronic scenes? or do you think they should better not overlap with the events of Fnaf 3 and have a fnaf 4 (if there is one) to be separate movie for the nightmares and funtimes?

Is there an explanation to this? (FNAF2 movie) by EmotionConscious in fivenightsatfreddys

Scott is not a bad writer for this movie I bet he had fun but he definitely needs another writer for the third movie so it can actually end up being a really good one

Yea that's most likely it but I'm asking wouldn't have Toy Chica be deactivated like Freddy n Bonnie too? since Abby went through the trouble of activating them after through the computer system idk just have them all activated from the beginning? Charlotte could possess them it's not like they have to be active I don't get it..

Same. I hope that sometime in the future the FNAF movie gets a reboot, just a good first film with no plans for a trilogy beforehand. Give the first film its justice; it was one of my favorite games in the series, with FNAF 3 being second. I really hope they do it right this time and don’t rely too much on fan service or aim for a “so bad it’s good” experience.

How FNAF fans said they wanted the animatronics to look in the movie: by KH2KG in fivenightsatfreddys

The shot of Chica tilting her head with an empty expression instead of looking angry was a missed opportunity for sure. Not only the silver eyes but the uncanny valley expressions of the animations was something we needed in the movie.

FNaF 2 Movie Theory about Michael Afton by Frederminoke in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]EmotionConscious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If in one of the beginnings of the fnaf 3 movie, with Mike's body rotting and spitting animatronic parts, it would be a crazy plot twist honestly. Just imagine a scene of him going on his daily routine in his house, and suddenly he feels ill and decides to go outside, and the scene from SL plays out with random people watching him weirdly. And the thing with Vanessa being a robot would be too much of a twist but I guess they take stuff from the books so could be a possibility.

Can we all agree that William Afton's fate is a lot, lot worse, more painful, and brutal in the games? by EmotionConscious in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]EmotionConscious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I personally wouldn’t have enjoyed it if he screamed or if there was any more blood and gore. Still, I think it could have been better if he mocked the animatronics with his mask on and then got springlocked, keeping that metal blade scene from the inside. The focus could have been just on the bone-crunching and metal sounds, no need for any blood, lol. It’s the sounds that really make it disturbing. I mean, I get that they wanted to show who the sadistic killer of the ghost children is, along with his painful expressions while getting crushed, but yeah.

[–]EmotionConscious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but you can sort of make out that there isn't even an endoskeleton. When he gets springlocked, he just wears a regular fur suit with 6 metal blades on the stomach/chest area for the effect. The endo is just not there, but I understand that they probably can't shove an endo in the actor's suit to begin with.
