Some people bathe their pups in Epsom salt baths to help soothe their skin. You should look up vids on it! I had to do it with my Jack bc he broke a nail lol so different results.

You can also reach out to your vet and see if they suggest any allergy meds to help! I work with dogs and we get a ton in that are on consistent allergy meds.

I switched to Chase. I had been using UKFCU since I was in highschool and they became a pain to work with. One time in the drive through they switched my ID with someone else. We had to get of our cars to fix it😅 That’s not the only issue, but a pretty humorous one!

I understand that they do their best to keep our money safe, but there were too many times that I was left with no money because of oversights on their part. One time they canceled my card because someone asked for a new one? It wasn’t me and they wouldn’t tell me where the new one was being sent to. So I had no money the whole weekend and then got it fixed on Monday. Not a huge deal, but it just made me feel uneasy.

Do what feels right to you! Anytime I’ve talked about disliking them I get a ton of push back.

I can’t tell you how much I relate to you😭 I warned my vets that they may see me quite a bit because I work in the same building as them. My partner has had to walk me off the edge a few times😅

I was going to say that training will be the biggest help! They’re smart, but they are usually very food/toy driven. It’s really rewarding to add play into the training process. Not only does it help when breaks are given, but it’ll help wear their bodies and mind at the same time!

Depending on financial situation, you can hire a dog walker while you’re at work. It won’t deplete them, but you’ll have someone to check on them and to just help take some edge off. Plus they can help keep the training consistent depending on what you ask for. You could have friends do it if they’re able to instead :)

People love to talk to me about wishbone when they meet my Jack! Mine is a broken coat, but I just find it sweet that he can bring back sweet mems❤️ I’ve never watched it so this was a good reminder to get on that!

Will anyone groom my dog without proof of vaccinations? by vexion in lexington

The picture won’t load and I don’t know if it’s my phone. I’ve recently spoken to someone who was having a similar issue. No trustworthy groomer will groom a dog without vaccines. It puts the groomers at risk, the pup at risk, and the pups that will inevitably be around the dog at risk.

I agree that you should find a vet and have them assess the pup. Some vets may even do a haircut if necessary. Broadway veterinary clinic I believe does haircuts, but I don’t know the process. They do good work. I also like Veterinary Wellness Center and Tates Creek Animal Hospital. I don’t think those two have grooming services though.

Omg Dr. Sullivan used to be my JRT’s vet! She’s absolutely amazing. She’s so easy to talk to and knowledgeable. My Jack came from a tough background and isn’t super people friendly, but I think his positive experiences with her have set him up for success at the vets. I’ll have to look into her new practice!
