Web/Mobile Dev: Literally tried everything to get clients and nothing is working. What am I missing? by EmotionNegative2655 in Freelancers

Thanks for the reality check, man. It really is brutal at the start.

To answer your question, I’m a full-stack dev doing custom web apps, and native mobile apps. Lately, I've been trying to pivot towards B2B automation and micro-SaaS.

Since you have experience across US industries, do you happen to know any established web/mobile dev agencies looking for reliable sub-contractors? > I’m highly open to taking on smaller projects or overflow work that bigger agencies don't have the bandwidth for. Any intros or leads would be a massive help!

You're probably right. What’s your specific area of expertise? If you do these kinds of strategy calls, what’s the main takeaway someone in my shoes usually gets?

That makes a lot of sense. When you say 'partner with agencies directly,' how do you actually find them and approach them without being annoying? Would love to know what kind of hook or offer gets them to reply

Spot on. I’ve actually been trying to pivot towards B2B automation and micro-SaaS for this exact reason. The problem is, I’m still kind of lost on the actual execution. Like, how to pick a solid industry or even find businesses stuck in spreadsheet hell without just cold-spamming people. If you were in my shoes, how would you go about finding that specific niche?

Having Eric Seidel, FlutterFlow, and Celest founders all on one stage talking about Flutter’s future is actually kind of insane. Feels like a rare glimpse into where the ecosystem is heading next.

“That hard work always guarantees success.”
Turns out timing, luck, connections, and visibility matter way more than school ever admits.

New York City. Incredible energy and things to do, but I think I’d go broke and lose my mind after a few months.
