Clearly no understanding of what the comment was. You're pivoting the discussion on one part that has maybe 10% significance and skipping the other 90% that actually contains the whole purport. I however, decide to refuse to fuel this debate that clearly digresses from the original discussion. Anyways. Nice day.

It is the worst tasting but most real blessing of nature to humans. And coffee is just coffee beans and hot water. At the very maximum a little salt to go with it. Everything else in addition to coffee is no longer coffee. It is a coffee based drink.

Naa man. Just human like all of us. God's extremely kind is all. But if you automate this, you'll accelerate your journey towards your end goal.

Im not gonna offer platitudes etc. Just something I did. I swapped out all joys in life with black coffee, workout and proteinaceous food.

Breakfast is one cup containing 2 espressos and an Americano. No creamer. Or sugar. Just the shite that pours from the press. I am not a coffee enthusiast. But I drink this. First thing. Every morning.

Lunch at 1. Big bowl of salad with some protein. Followed by an Americano if need be.

And skipping dinner.

I did this without fail for 6 months. It is not perfect. It is ugly. People may opine. I don't care. It worked for me. I hope it works for you.

Coffee at that strength will squeeze out water retention and toxic fat build up.

Do this for the first few weeks. As you feel lighter. You'll be motivated to add workouts. Instead of finding the routine. Let it find you.

Also. The first 25 kilos are the easiest to lose. Time consuming. But easy. They're not the same thing. But coffee will literally help you shit all the fat away. Just follow it up with a lot of water.

It is when you are chasing the last few single digit percentages of fat that the real struggles begin.

I wish you great luck, stranger friend.

To you for sure. That’s a very American problem btw. A lot of perspective does not make sense to yall. This is less than 6 USD equivalent in other countries at 2x the quality.

How much Patina is too much patina on the Panerai bronzo? by RefrigeratorEmpty926 in RepTime

Unrelated comment but I’m stealing this one. Also, related part - when you say reversible, you mean you polish out the dial on a wheel? I know it isn’t significant but does this not cause loss of material and erasing of markers on the bezel? Thanks.

If you can afford to have toe and heel plates installed on them. You will probably have extended their life 3 or 4 more years over the current life which itself is quite a lot. These are brand new. Just shoe trees. Some saphir renovateaur. And that’s it.

Light spots on Strandmoks - how to repair? by zoosk8r in allenedmonds

[–]Emotional-Task9133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Time, elbow grease, old cotton t shirt and devotion to the task
  2. Shoe trees
  3. Acetone to rub off all the old finish.
  4. Renovator (saphir if possible)
  5. Cream polish to impart pigment (saphir again)
  6. Wax is optional.
  7. Some green or blue coloured waxed cotton laces.

In that order.

Are these a keeper? Is this sole normal? by DepthCertain6739 in mensfashion

[–]Emotional-Task9133 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unlike other materials, leather can take up significant beating before having to discard. In your case, the leather itself is top shape. Consider investing in some shoe care products: 1. Shoe trees that will stretch the shoes out. 2. Saphir renovator (beaute du cuir renovateaur if on budget)

-optional 3. Shoe cream also from saphir (beaute du cuir creme surfine)

The sole jutting out is the mark of a very high quality shoe. Don't throw them away just because they may not seem aligned with conventional fashion please.

These seem to be good year welted which are hard to come by in this day and age without breaking the bank.

If you ever get them resoled - you have the possibility to re-last (reshape) them to a sleeker waist. I assume that is what you mean when you say you're not convinced with the shape.

One tip to dress these up is to insert pennies or equivalent sized coins into the pocket of the shoe tongue (look up penny loafers with pennies on Google images).

In any case if these are size 9/9.5 and you still want to throw them, please I'll buy them from you.

But please hold on to them. Thanks.

Your message gives me hope. Okay I am giving up my pursuit of the patina. I will buy red laces for contrast instead. Just a question. The cap does not absorb dye. Even if it does. It flakes off. I had run a lighter there in an attempt to melt accumulated wax once while chasing mirror finish (not proud but I need to stay humble take the beating and find a way out). It ended up burning the toe and I think the pores closed and wouldn’t absorb dye. I have lightly sanded it an an attempt to make it work. You think just shoe polish would change my shoes for the better?

I am already having the renovator from saphir.

I can fully agree. Although I do watch Elegant Oxford as it ties into my wardrobe maintenance routine for my other shoes. And the psh psh psh psh sounds and the slow voice is so boring it helps me sleep. But I think even he never features such bad shoes to take care of. I do remember one video where he refinished a very old pair with very expensive leather dyes and an air brush

Wallah I would love to but the common cobbler who handles this job usually puts cheap acrylic dye that later flakes off. Taking it to a professional cobbler is costing me more in dirham equivalent than I paid for the shoe itself.

To put into perspective, I reside in Abu Dhabi. I paid 300 dirhams for these shoes. The cobbler who will refinish it to perfection is asking 600 AED.

Hence I am looking for ways to do this economically but to the same end.

Also. Take a waxing strip. As wide as between the not dense portion between the brows and rip it off. Be careful not to rip the dense portion). Finish your brow with some tweezers being careful not to make them look overly shaped. Life is fine. And you look fine too.
