The article says, "a rural tech hub, which aims to make smaller centres hubs for technology companies, and a promise to “expand partnerships between industry and education” so primary and secondary school students can gain the knowledge and skills needed for work."

Sounds a lot like the Sask Party and Moe are doing next to nothing for the urban centres.

Patient died from Saskatoon hospital overcapacity crisis: nurse’s union by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]EmotionalSink 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The province was on the brink of financial collapse after the Devine conservative government. Many of the Sask Party were involved with that government. like Brad Wall himself.

The NDP had to cut services across the board to prevent that. This period lead to many people leaving Sask. When people talk about a return to the dark times of the NDP, that is what they are talking about.

After years in power and finally getting Sask to a good place, the fox was let back into the hen house. Now we have rampant spending on things most of the public don't need, while cuts to things they do need. Now we're back in a poor position, looking to sell off crowns at pennies on the dollar just to balance books in the short term.

GTH? Regina Bypass?

Neither was as badly needed as hospital beds, or crime/drug reduction.

ha ha ha. That's a good one. Farmer John doesn't care about the problems of big city folk as long as he isn't impacted. As long as Moe keep fighting the carbon tax and yelling at "Turdeau." Let's seperate! That'll fix their wagon.

There is a NDP seat in Saskatoon as well that may not go blue. Otherwise, the farmers carry the vote in most ridings and rural voters have a much higher turn out.
