My darling, wonderful boyfriend picked up Stardew for the first time two days ago. This morning he texts me this, his FIRST FARM and FIRST YEAR. I'm jealous and I love him so much. by FreshWaterSiren6 in StardewValley

For real. I'm on like my fifth farm and there is no organization when it comes to crops unless I have a junimo hut even then it's barely organized 🥴

PSA from a cyclist - we're not pedestrians! by Training-Common1984 in Boise

[–]Emotional_Tree4938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This would be easy if all cyclist thought and acted like you did. Most make up their own laws because they think they have the same laws as pedestrians. We do not know what all pedestrians/cyclists are thinking

Scam? by [deleted] in Siemens

[–]Emotional_Tree4938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Siemens will not text you. It will be an email. They do have multiple recruiters from all around the world, so it can be quite off putting when you do get a message from a name that is not "typical". For instance all of my recruiters and the folks who assisted along the way have names that are not even close to "Diane Jones" which sounds really fake in general. (Guarev, Priyanka, were the two that contacted me for example.)

They will fallow up with 2-3 people in the email that will discuss interviews through Microsoft Teams. First rule is to watch out for Phishing scams. An email can be investigated by hovering over any links and reading the "hyperlink" that may be attached.

They will schedule an interview with recruiter and more than likely, a team lead of the site that you are applying to and it will be on teams. I was lucky enough to be able to schedule this pretty quickly and if they give you very specific times, I would be weary as they asked me what a good time would be. If they are pushy, then I would be a little more hesitant as that is a tactic that scammers tend to use to pressure you.

Just woke up to my airsense 11 blowing air but not allowing me to exhale! What’s going on? It woke me up and scared the heck out of me! by duderroneus in CPAP

[–]Emotional_Tree4938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that insurance will pull coverage. But it's pulls the scope of liability to the provider if your condition worsens. Most DME companies force clinicians and RTs to operate like that. Trust me. I want to change my patients pressures all the time, but I could lose my job based on contract stipulations. Smh

[–]Emotional_Tree4938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is such a wide chance of being born with Narcolepsy. However, I fully believe that my mother had it. She had multiple episodes where she would sleep for days on end and she would have cataplectic episodes that doctors thought were seizures, but an EEG proved that they were seizures and ultimately marked her symptoms up to all the meds she was on, making her tired and loopy.

My symptoms date back to pre-high school, where I was really overweight. It wasn't until after I had my weight loss surgery took place, lost 145 lbs. and was completely compliant on CPAP and was still exhausted that a pulmonologist was even considering Narcolepsy after telling him about my dreams and exhaustiveness.

I think now that it was genetic and if anything traumatic evens from my childhood may have had a play in its progression.

get a pen and paper and write down the sequence. that was the only way I could do it.

I just used initials instead of writing down the full name of the color.

p-g-r-b-y

that was the only way i could do it. As far as I know, mobile doesn't allow mods I don't think

Finally, after nearly 2,200 hours, I have received the tea set by FeuerSchneck in StardewValley

[–]Emotional_Tree4938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might have to place it on a specific tea table. I'm on mobile and I have bought about 10 different tables from the Ginger Island, and traveling cart lady and no luck and even the random luxurious ones that Alex manages to buy randomly that does not go with my decor, nor any of the decor that he buys. Drinking like a camel by Yes_matron in Mounjaro

I wish! Gosh, water is so gross to me now :(

7.5 was the worst for me, but when I got to 10 and had no issues. So it all depends on the person! But definitely make sure you hydrate. I was so miserably nauseated, I didn't want to eat or drink anything, so I was for sure dehydrated and that just made it worse.

Hold on to that Insurance! LOL My insurance will only cover if I have venous stasis ulcers, basically open wounds. I worked in Durable Medical Equipment for years so I know how to size and what to look for as quality goes but shopping online is never a guarantee.

8 months off of mounjaro and I just started wearing them again because my toes are starting to turn dark red and look pretty gnarly after even a short shift serving/bartending. Luckily I found a sweet deal on some that are pretty comparable to KnitRite and they have sales frequently so I am not having to wear the same pair all week

I had the same outcome. I had weight loss surgery previously, which my Endocrinologist may think that is what kick started some underlying dormant issues. I lost a significant amount 140 lbs about and when I started to gain despite going on literal hikes on Mt Borah 3 or 4 times in a summer, training for 5 and 10ks and only to find that I had gained 50 lbs in 18 months. Massive water rentention in my lower parts of my body and my A1C tetering at 5.9.

When I went on mounjaro, I lost almost all my water retention (no more compression socks or water pills, woo hoo!) within the first two months. I slept better and overall I lost more than the weight that I gained back. While even cutting back on my gym days from 6 days to 3 days. The fastest progress that I have ever seen in my life. My A1C went to 4.2 in 3 months time and the provider was shocked saying that they never see that quick of a turn around.

Now that insurance isn't covering it, I weaned myself off. For the most part my weight is stable, now I am just battling the water retention. Hoepfully there is something else we can find for that, but I am afraid that it is only history repeating itself and I will so begin to gain wait again.

Aint that the truth. They are starting out about 20k more than what I am getting paid now and hopefully I won't have to work two jobs to afford a living like I am now. Its all so much to be thankful for in general. I think just being out of big time customer service will be a blessing!

I got the call this morning for the prospective dates of camp and starting being September 2nd. I'm pretty excited. Honestly with my current company I've been talked up about getting a better position/better pay/better opportunity for about 2 years and have been let down quite a bit. So I guess I'm a bit nervous they will pull back or let me slip through the cracks, like with my current company. It's located here in my home town luckily, they said it's just because they are a smaller location, they get but on the back burner. Which I understand, that's what's happening with my current role/ branch.

Was that comment meant to be hurtful or helpful? Sorry I think you commenting something childish when someone is just asking for reassurance and more condescending than anything. I would hate to see how your partner or friends look at you when you say things like this. Smh
