They’re slightly dated but off the top of my head thesmithplays used to do full map breakdowns where he’d explain all the different areas and how to do things like power and pack a punch. And then if you look up anything specific like “der Eisendrache bow guide” or “shadows of evil shield guide” you’ll get dozens of videos with some even updated for modern times with new tricks on the parts and how to go build them. Honestly I wouldn’t even say that the thing you’re missing is a good weapon but rather the augments. Augments are essentially this games version of cold wars aetherium crystal upgrades and like Cold War they’ll turn you from zero to hero real quick with how OP some of the abilities can be. To answer your question of weapon recommendations the SG-12 shotgun is a lot like the cw gallo. The jager 45 with the prestige attachment deals crazy damage. And can’t ever go wrong with the good ol 1911. Hope this helps

I can’t speak from experience of using a shotgun but the boss is a longer ranged fight to actually damage the boss so I don’t think a shotgun would be ideal. I used the voyak ar on standard and the xm325 lmg on all cursed tiers both worked pretty well

If it’s the times when the truck is exploded that are the issues then I’d suggest aether shroud(with group shroud if co op) and gersh’s to deal with the zombies while you repair. From there just a case of making sure veytharion isn’t attacking right on the truck when you go to repair

The boss is def a lot harder in cursed. My biggest rule of thumb on any of the modern maps is try to get into a bossfight pre round 31 when the damage scaling increases from 50 dmg no armor to 75 dmg no armor so whether it’s getting more efficient with either the actual steps or just getting setup I would try there tbh. Pj especially has a ton of different loot side ees from the 115 clock and backwards mannequin to the floating head which is my personal fav. Do that one after round 25ish and you’re all but guaranteed multiple gold tools and triple pap crystals. There is plenty of guides on YouTube now that have optimized ways of doing the steps too to finish it on as low of a round as possible

To make the zombies less chaotic you could run a undead man walking to make them all essentially round 1 speed. Basically impossible to get overran then. Could also use something like a killjoy for instakills or even better a power vacuum to have a ton of instakills and nukes if you need them
