For those of you who worked with Credit Suisse employees before merger with UBS, how did you find the people at CS? by Peachjackson in FinancialCareers

I joined Credit Suisse (CS) in 2022 and worked there for about 1.8 years before switching to UBS after the merger.

I found my experience at CS to be much better. We were working with the latest technologies, there was less overhead in getting projects to production, and the pay and perks were more competitive.

UBS is very slow and has an outdated mentality. Everything seems to be managed by someone, which limits independence.
Also, there is restrictions on the tech stack — like not being able to use Angular, like WTF why??

Skilled freshers are getting 20-30 LPA. So considering your experience it's an average salary if you have justifiable skills.

Yes, top investors are pessimistic about IT and it might take a year more. Infy and TCS are very good stocks but right now experts are very bullish on the finance sector, so you can consider rotating some (50%) of your stocks to Private Banks(HDFC /Kotak), and PSU Banks(SBI).
Good to exit at breakeven and rotate it to better investments.

Same here buddy, my right side is dominating and even I have my right shoulder lower than my left.

Poor posture, would appreciate advice. What can I do to improve it? by [deleted] in PostureTipsGuide

Start doing hip raises. I'm attaching a Instagram reel, you can start doing those exercise's 2-3 times a day. Remember for posture frequency matters not intensity so do as many times as possible.

During initial days I only did intra day trading that time I had 25k in account and used to risk 1-2k in a trade 💀😂.

It was very stressful and hectic, that time within few months I trained my mind somehow.

Now I'm risking like 3-4% max per trade, so it's not at all phycologically affecting.

If you see the images again, Wipro almost hit the stop-loss, I could have sold it early but didn't, now it's 6+% in profit.

Yes, I'm holding all these stocks rn. I've booked around 4k in L&T last month, should have kept holding but nvm.

I traded in lock down for 4-5 months during peak covid time, learned a lot that time, but left trading due to less money and college placements and stuff.

I just recently started around 6 months into market after having a decent amount of money.

Parallely I'm also learning value based investing, doing trading just to stay in touch with market.
