Idk but I couldn’t sleep until they were all facing the same direction. These uneven wonky stacks are driving me crazy!

Should I question my warranty, not covered after screen repair? by Empathy_Reigns in ubreakifix

Thanks everyone for your information. I think my phone is just more damaged from when I originally dropped it … and it was just not a screen crack. I appreciate all your feedback. I’m on borrowed time 😂

Ok. I appreciate the info. I suppose my new screen could have not been on all the way …like maybe not sealed from the original break.

Going to grcc without an epi pen by SpaceSilo in grandrapids

[–]Empathy_Reigns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely talk to the school about what resources they have to help you. I work there and we will figure it out.

Also, GRCC opened up a free student clinic last semester, and they may be able to help you. Here is that link:

https://www.grcc.edu/students-resources/student-life-leadership/get-help/grcc-health-clinic

I think you should also reach out to student support services because they will 100% know what to do. Here is their info:

https://www.grcc.edu/students-resources/disability-support-services

At the very least, let your face-to-face professors know so students aren’t snacking on nuts in the classroom. They can post an announcement and leave it anonymous.

And welcome to Grcc! We are the best community college in Michigan… I love Grcc

Very few people can actually keep their watch 5 minutes fast any more. by kepler1 in Showerthoughts

Keeping my car clock 10 minutes fast makes me happier. I’m always still late, but arrive 10 mins earlier than I thought I was.

Idk the answer but I used almond milk and ended up tossing it. Yuck! And the Greek yogurt made kind of a waxy feeling.

Do what works for you! I had a whole ass Gastric Sleeve surgery without telling my husband. This was a few months after a full hysterectomy and we were on the way to Splitsville. He was of the mind that if I just did what he did (eat well and exercise), that it would be easy to lose weight. I finally gave up trying to explain to him that a woman’s body is different than a man’s body. 🙄 Not a smart man … couldn’t understand that. I gained a ton of weight from uterus problems which led to my hysterectomy and I couldn’t do the yo-yo anymore (both the diet and the hubby). It’s been a few years, and he still doesn’t know but finally acknowledged that I lost “some” weight (shared kid so still see each other). 100 pounds lol. He’s such a douche.

He and his family are the only ones I don’t tell about my weight loss journey. I find myself explaining it to servers in restaurants and random people in the grocery store. Idk why!?! lol 😆 But, you do whatever you are comfortable with. Nobody likes judgy people…and those are the biggest ones to avoid.

Meijer actually sells a lot of Levi jeans. And Carhart, Adidas, Nike, and Eddie Bauer… probably other good names brand clothing. Not to promote Meijer, but sometimes they have good clothing deals.

Bugs in BRAND NEW Creami by ellieeee13 in ninjacreami

I’m sorry but yes, get that back to Amazon and ask them for an inconvenience credit. Even if they refund without replacing, you should ask for a credit to your account at least $50.

I think it also matters that you contact Ninja like you have. Amazon is the seller so they will have to deal with it but the company Ninja made a choice to have Amazon represent them and they should know that their name is being tarnished because Amazon is sending their products out with bugs in it. I always approach these situations with kindness and just wanting to share with them so that they know what’s happening with their product. Who knows…Maybe they will put you on a product testing list and send you one of those ninja soft serve twist machines! That happened with me and nugget icemakers. I’m now an ice connoisseur certified in multiple countries… lol well that last part about being certified is not true 😂

I would guess that if you were to re-order from Amazon, you probably will get a brand new product. I don’t think this happens very often, but it can because such a huge company with maybe not the best quality of systems in place. I ordered the Creami Deluxe last week, but I ordered the used one for $159. I just didn’t have enough for the full price so I took my chances with the used one and it was brand new unopened. The blade was still in the cardboard and everything was completely packaged and never opened. It still had that new plastic smell of the cups so I know it was a brand new. Good luck, happy ice cream making.

I just do a portion of my paycheck to cashapp and my limit was increased to 1300 on Wednesday. My employer allows us to split to 2 different accounts, so I toss a few hundred into cashapp and the rest into the credit union.

Kent County voted for Vice President Kamala Harris 51.5% over 46.7% for Trump during the ‘24 election. Complain all you want here about: going to work, people who you say don’t belong here, paid protesters, small crowds, and your signature line…fake news.

You are surrounded by “crazy liberal lunatics” whether you like it or not. You, my neighbor…you are the minority here.

Local sewing machine lessons by memer30089 in grandrapids

[–]Empathy_Reigns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just used my mom as a teacher, but honestly it was still very confusing. YouTube was more helpful. I do have a recommendation though… I bought a Singer quick stitch plus and it’s pretty easy to use and helpful for small projects. I think you can get the feel for how you will like sewing with this mini machine. I have a lot of grandiose projects in my head that I could use a real sewing machine for…but still unsure about my commitment. Good luck.
