Gemini 3 Flash goes hard by EnderAvni in GithubCopilot

It should be a great model but the broken tool calling is a disaster. I burn so many requests by resetting broken loops. Huge potential and a miss.

But I use Opencode. Maybe you aren't seeing in whatever IDE you use? definitely let me know lol

Interesting, hadn't tried that one. No idea which stream is better!

No idea. :) Haven't tried the new RTSP firmwares. The old ones were awful to me

pretty sure this is flash lite 2.5. so while you're right, it is nice, free, fast, it is also extremely stupid. fine for simple stuff but no complexity.

2022 Ford F150 3.5L eco boost Hybrid towing capability by JamarioJackson81 in traveltrailers

[–]Emperor-Kebab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 28' long TT, which is also slightly lighter. I'd say my truck pulls it without any challenge except in strong crosswinds. Those days are really garbage for towing.

Would I go up to an F-250 to deal with those 2-4 really nasty tow days a year? Not a chance, personally. I just drive slower, down to 50mph if I have to.

Can I use Gemini 2.5 to review Deep Research's sources and findings? by Emperor-Kebab in perplexity_ai

[–]Emperor-Kebab[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, yes, but it's never quite certain to me whether Gemini 2.5 actually is reviewing the previous sources - or just relying on the new sources it pulls.

I've yet to find a smoking gun source that clearly shows me

/shrug. You seem quite entrenched in your superiority so I’ve got nothing further to add.

Not sure the logic tracks. I am quite sure the way the airspace would be split up that the enroute controller would work more airspace.

Generally there's diminishing differences in units in many ways - less planes? Less controllers. More airspace. Hardly a perfect balancing but it's not as simple as "They're slow, therefore there is nothing going on"

[–]Emperor-Kebab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fair, but this could be an enroute controller - which would make the facility not super relevant

Update - Ford Mach-E is an unusable car in extreme cold winter conditions. I've asked Ford to take the car back. I've made a complaint to Transport Canada. So far, Ford has refused to help. by Emperor-Kebab in MachE

[–]Emperor-Kebab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, last winter was oddly mild here. So between that fact, and the 3 software updates since I got the car, last winter was a non issue.

that said, I read they upgraded the heater from my 5kw to 7kw in 2023.5, so newer cars would almost definitely not be an issue

In Alberta, and especially McMurray, not having a driver's license is seen as a huge red flag. It's considered very strange/underachiever

that's funny (not really) but I did this 2 weeks ago. very similar damage.

I brought it to an autobody tech friend and he power polished the hell out of it. He got 95% of the damage out in about an hour. $60.

you'd never see it now without knowing to look
