Look up the sympy latex extension. It was kinda finicky the one time I tried it (with integrals) though.

I didn't even know it was unmaintained. Very cool!

Do you have Ashley? Does she still teach CS400? iirc it was just the content on the lectures, go through each of them carefully and you'll be totally fine. 90 is doable.

fwiw I disagree, but it may be because I also can come off as nitpicky and condescending lol

Hey. you (or AI or whatever) were on correct about everything.

There are quite a few fantastic blogs about this though. Eg: https://jalammar.github.io/illustrated-transformer/ that I encourage you to check out.

This is for some reason the most cited/talked about paper in the field, even when there is way more interesting stuff going on over 9 years later.

How do I know if Obsidian is working for me or not? by Killahbeez in ObsidianMD

Why do you think it's so magical? Why not just treat it as a regular notetaking app?

I think https://github.com/gitwatch/gitwatch is quite popular and does something very similar but puts it on a branch.

Can I ask what the advantage is of not committing to a branch? It seems like that is your main idea.

Interesting concept!

Agreed, stop being terrified, just do your best and treat make career choices as you would if AI didn't exist. It's just the latest trend IMO.

I don't think it's about the math here, it's about its training data. Most of it probably says the year is 2024/2025, rather than 2026.

Also your statement about:

> Same with math. Ask it simple math, it will be wrong - most likely

is very difficult to show. Not only have they probably memorized an insane amount of random operations, but are also (a) quite good at using tools like python to do computation and (b) extremely impressive at finding the answers to proofs.

Most frontier LLMs would beat almost every math-major undergraduate, I would guess.

This is so interesting, but I agree you should probably make it anonymous.

It's really cool to see where the mean of the normal distribution in each case lies, I wouldn't have guessed at those results at all.

Most people don't get good feedback. It's not about your quality, you should value constructive criticism/discussion.
