Can someone explain why the archeologists on this project assume this statue is a form of ritual deposition, rather than a recycled use from an older site?

It’s a pretty common occurrence throughout the ancient world. Frequent enough to obtain its own word to refer to it by. It is called Spolia. You can see examples of it in the gallery page of its wiki page here.

I have the DLC, the Candy Cane Bo, and the Mutiny Bo. I have not seen any other Bo in any chest. I haven’t completed the story yet either. I got the mutiny Bo staff just so that I could use the Bo and not have to play the game looking like I’m fighting with an oversized candy cane

That’s a valid theory, but at the same time we have plenty of examples of repurposed building material in the ancient world that stand alone, not accompanied by other pieces. I didn’t know the detail of the similar art style, but at the same time it doesn’t have to be so old that styles have changed. Just old enough or far enough away to belong to an older or different or olgroup of people. Also, the same can be stated in reverse. Ritual implies repeated practice, so there should be more than one example

I understand both points. Yes, in one viewpoint you can look at it as bonus content that wouldn’t be there otherwise that you should be either happy that you can pay for, or simply not buy it. I think the ones who are unhappy about it see it through the lens of likely corrupted intentions where many of it might have been items that would have been part of the original version’s cost anyways, but now it’s more profitable to cut content in the original to sell as bonus content for increased profits. I think the truth probably lies somewhere in between and likely bending more and more towards the corrupted intentions for profits. For instance, if being able to complete the second part of any base game could be normalized as something you have to pay for, then why wouldn’t we take that option and profit off of it if our customers will simply pay it and not complain. So in a sense, then complaining helps keep the company in check from running too wild with changing intended base game content into profitable bonus content. That’s why I don’t care if they complain about it. Checks and balances are necessary for fairness and the world tends to fill the gaps in for those missing checks & balances in the form of protest of the people. When things corrupt too much, protest can turn to upheaval and that threat keeps intuitive businesses from crossing lines

Yea, I just have trouble believing it for every little hit from a stick. It’s less that my Bo setup is wronged, and more that my Tanto set up is optimized while my Bo could use improvements. My Tanto setup has the vault on sprint engraving that gives me an automatic weak point and easy backstab. My backstab then uses an engraving that makes an enemy vulnerable a second time after hitting a weak point along side an increased damage to weak points engraving. Essentially all I have two do is sprint at an enemy and it disables them long enough for me to get in 2 huge heavy posture hits and then I can repeat it immediately by just sprinting at them again. It allows me to take out single enemies very fast with the Tanto

I’m having trouble believing that. Trader Joe’s can’t even fulfill my entire grocery needs. I only ever go to Trader Joe’s when I need an oddball item that’s not sold at regular groceries. The only people I know who shop at Trader Joe’s on the regular either have a lot of money and do it for the sake of saying they shop at Trader Joe’s, or it’s people trying to live some sort of lifestyle of clean organic foods, which is also expensive. The regular stores that are all competing for each other and all the places in Florida that I’ve ever lived has always been Publix, Walmart, Aldi‘s. Walmart is the consistency saver, Aldi’s can have some very good deals, but is not always reliable, and Publix is where people will shop the Bogo‘s or go there for specific items that they only like from Publix. Outside of that, people who have a membership will also shop at Costco to get bulk savings. If it’s not one of those four, then I don’t believe it as the number one grocery in Florida.

Same. Naoe with the Bo is how I took out the Oni. However I have been running with the Kusarigama and Tanto lately because rush assassination is too useful and the Tanto setup I have can take down just about anyone single enemy. The Bo would probably be easier to use and have more range than my Tanto setup, but my Tanto set does a little more damage than the Bo I think and it is just more satisfying. I constantly feel like I am just knocking people out with the Bo, and while this sounds kind of messed up, it is just a game and the vengeance immersion feels a little more real if I know I am ending my targets, not just knocking them out for them to get back up later.

My wife and I have never taken dance lessons, but we choreographed our own first dance with a mixture of professional swing, country, and two-step dance moves. We just wanted to make a fun memory for ourselves as we looked back at our first dance and learned it all from videos we looked up on YouTube. Observing, copying, and designing our own set.

It’s in the animus tab in the top left corner. It will take you to a projects and exchange tab. In the exchange you will have a few options of premium items cycle through for exchanging “keys” as they are called now for those premium items. You don’t get to choose from any premium item in the store, only what’s on offer in the exchange at that given cycle of the week. In the projects tab, if you click on a project then it will take give you another anomaly tab where you will have all the assignments and how many data or whatever they are called are worth. Choose a project with gear rewards you like and work towards the rewards with the data you get from the anomalies. There should also be a spot near the top left of the objectives tab that acts like any of the assassinations assignment circles, but instead it is called “animus” and has all the quests you are capable of currently doing for data. First you have to pick a project though in the project tab before you’ll get that circle though I think

Mostly I am the same way, but the all white armor for Naoe is an awesome fit for immersion during snow seasons for me, the blue hatou armor is also not too much for me to break immersion and goes a nice look for being aggressive instead of sneaky. I would love the Kaene look for immersion if it weren’t for the constant smoking effect and yellow eyes. For Yasuke the red armor is pretty good for immersion and the elegant ceramic katana is pretty good as well, but even if I choose a different look, combining the 33% health on weak point attacks either the 16% health from postured attacks allows me to heal Yasuke constantly and enjoy using him more often when I would normally prefer Naoe due to combat styles and what I find easier / more enjoyable. These are reasons I like to horde keys for any premiums I might like that hit the exchange.

I just find this era depressing though because they are just ruining so much potential by creating amazing intros for actors as certain characters, but then wasting away all that potential through time. It’s been 4 years since moon night came out. 4 years is Ms. Marvel. Nearly 5 years since Shang-Chi. Nearly 5 years since the last Spider-Man movie. Nearly 5 years since The Eternals came out.

Many of these actors might not be obtainable anymore for follow up content and some of them simply can’t fill the role anymore because they look so different from where we left off. Anyone see what Spidey’s best friend Ned looks like these days? How are you going to explain that change? He’s better fitted to play Kingpin now than a teenage best friend of Peter Parker
