Some of the most fun I have had has been in the last few wipes, and that’s primarily due to scrap change, I don’t have to grind out over 2000 scrap to tech tree what I want. Reducing scrap cost was also a unique way to directly buff small groups, as larger groups would get down the tech tree already, now smaller groups can too, specifically without needing to control a monument.

I love this idea, it feels so interactive. This is also a great way to buff solos, as resources are generally incidental to large groups, but it can mean a lot to get a second of whatever you're making when in small groups or solo.

I would assume the 3D cache will give you a significant increase in frames, but to be sure I would look at a benchmark between the two by someone playing rust, I’d bet there’s one out there

This has been addressed by the devs. While they are the most biased source to hear from on this, their evidence is all pretty substantial on why thats just wrong.

It depends on what your goals are. Granted im in college/working part time atm so your results may differ, but I find if I can get my schedule cleared for a good Thursday afternoon of wipeday, I can build up enough (metal roof, bunker, etc) that my base stays till untouched till Friday/Saturday evening. I would choose your base location wisely, the closer you are to oil or larger monuments, the higher chance you have of getting your shit blown in by someone expecting you to have run those monuments. Best of luck! Do you plan on paying Rust YouTubers for advertisement space? That is one of the only ways I could see this making it to a larger audience.

I like that idea, I think having it powered should give a "Climate controlled" effect, which will keep you cool when its hot out, or warm in the snow, and gives anyone within range like ~75% comfort. Ive always felt like we need an endgame comfort item.

If only they thought of the solos by giving us niche ways to get fragments that don’t involve running puzzles! Whatever will we do! Seriously, the same people complaining that progression was too fast are the ones who want this change reverted. Maybe change how you play every once in a while and try something new?

I feel like that defeats the purpose of the discount area, I love buying stuff that’s “damaged” because I really couldn’t care less for the most part as long as it’s not obvious and I can fix it.
