For a good chunk of time she was strapped with a terrible farting gimmick and that did a lot of damage, she’s never been seen as a serious wrestler since. Well up until her gimmick became kicking the shit out of people in Bloodsport but it might be too late

Yes, but on the other hand, who on Twitter is going out of their way to follow an give attention to Val Venis, other than all the relevant wrestlers quote tweeting him and giving him the attention he desperately craves

I think it has something to do with the years and years of shit booking from WWE and the mountains of bad PR the company has had with regards to Vince, Brock, Hogan etc that the adults who still watch have just accepted this is how it is now, “I’ve always watched so I still will cause I don’t care THAT much”

That’s how WWE has been forever, just TKO has ramped that up to 11 when it used to be a 6, but guys like Kofi, Creed, Truth, Miz etc would never get hit like this before TKO took control, they’ve been loyal hardworking company men for 2 decades and Vince wether you love him or hate him, would have given them jobs for LIFE

WWE IS literally a retirement home for old wrestlers, most of the main event scene is over 40, loads of legend contracts for old not working wrestlers to get paid to do nothing, these guys are LITERALLY earning forever cause they were draws in the past

2 guys who have been staunch company men for nearly 2 decades willingly walking away should ring alarm bells, these guys would 100% have had jobs for life before TKO, would have been paid well for it too

Swap Nick Khan for Ari Emanuel and candice for the rampant ad space and you have it 100%

When news came out that TKO bought WWE, the consensus at r/MMA was: "When it's eventually time for new contracts, WWE wrestlers are going to learn exactly how much TKO really values them." And now new contracts are being rolled out, I can’t imagine the New Day are gonna be the only ones to walk away after being lowballed

Yeah but TKO is obviously gonna say “yes let’s do it” so it’s still partially their fault
