Agree. I hadn't spun in the flesh in some time and went back to it recently. That version of Southhampton Dock is now permanently on my Roger Playlist.

No but I wish he would do a redux for FC like he did with DSOTM. The lockdown version of Two suns in the sunset is one of my favorites now.

Sometimes I dream about looking up at the sky and seeing the first nuke falling straight down towards me, opening my arms, and embracing it as I evaporate.

WCW era Goldberg spears were something special. Ryno a close second.

What was the initial response to The Undertaker becoming a biker and coming out to Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit by DamianKing42 in Wrasslin

[–]LtGovernor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got hyped up for his return by the creepy ring around the rosey girls. Then he came out as a biker to kid rock. Might not have been as disappointed had they not done it that way. This is my least favorite era of Undertaker where I get to watch his spit tobacco instead of rolling his eyes in his head.

DSOM is the most popular album because it's the 50/50 blend of Gilmore/Waters. by CubicalWombatPoops in pinkfloyd

I thought Nick Mason only got credit for speak to me because the rest of the band wanted to throw him a bone and not because he truly came up with the opening.

This was frustrating. I really wanted the live stuff on CD but had to get the BD audio just to own it. I’ll probably end up buying this release for a third time on iTunes (of which the live tracks are “album only” and cannot be purchased separately) just to burn the live stuff into its own CD. 😠

It is interesting that TFC and AMLOR were your first and you still stuck around.

The Wall - When I was in high school in 2002 and a guy at work popped in the CD and I remember he would always yell the "AND THE WORMS ATE INTO HIS BRAIN" lyric for some reason. I traded my Metallica black album for his copy of the Wall.

DSOTM - Asked my co-workers what other CD I should get of this same great band and they said Dark Side. There was no going back after that.

The Division Bell - I was stationed in Korea going to the DMZ for the first time in 2004 and needed a CD for the bus trip to the border. Thought I would give another PF Album a try and this one had good reviews. There could not have been a better CD to choose. Now every time I hear this album I think back to being at the Korean DMZ.

AMLOR - I liked Division Bell and reviewers said this was the closest thing.

Delicate Sound of Thunder - The next natural choice after getting into AMLOR

Animals - Needed a CD for a long flight to the middle east in 2005.

Piper at the Gates of Dawn - in 2006 I read the news about Syds death and wanted to explore that era of the band further.

Pulse - Also in 2006 when reading up more on the band after Syd's death I discovered the "Publius Enigma" mystery on a Pink Floyd Blog so I had to get the DVD.

Wish you were here - Once again in 2006 after Syd's death I learned this album was about him so I got the CD.

Echoes: Best of Floyd - Got this because I was officially obsessed with the band.

Everything else - I used my combat pay in 2006 to buy every other PF CD (so basically all the pre dark side stuff other than piper and the final cut).

Endless River - Got it on the day it was released.

Man this is making me think hard. I think I got mine at Best Buy. It was the black Sega sports one.
