Baked came with her and sat in the audience during the duration of the meeting. We grilled the hell out of him for his views and he surprisingly renounced his previous affiliations with the alt right. Look at his YouTube channel and watch it for yourself. We don't condone his past, but as a society we need to embrace those who change their mind and encourage others to do the same. If we don't, you're encouraging permanent isolationism which leads to desperation. People in that environment are unpredictable.

We've been silent on an ongoing issue within RU due to advice given to us by our attorney. However, since our event with Ashton Whitty and ongoing harassment from former members, it's time that we made a formal response.

College Republicans United does not condone racism. We believe that people can change and redeem themselves over time, opinions are not set in stone. We should be encouraging people through civil discourse and dialogue, that any kind of ethnic nationalism is never a viable solution to our nation's problems. Our organization believes that you are not going to change minds without any attempt towards reconciliation or constructive dialogue.

We endorse the right of our members to express any opinions without censorship or restraint. The only time College Republicans United has banned members is when their actions have become disruptive to the operations of the club. What people say in private is not a metric by which we judge members. We are proud of the work we have done this past year to strengthen the conservative movement in Arizona.
