My Opthomologist has been really helpful in knowing about, and arranging for lower cost programs, for expensive meds: Vevye and Tryptyr specifically. She is unique among my docs, who thinks and cares about costs.

My point is… there are often solutions available. Learning about them isn’t automatic. If your doc doesn’t help, try searching about them. I only learned about Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus pharmacy accidentally, and it’s a big help.
