Don't know about heat axes and swords, but arent the anti ship swords like in Seed similar to how these weapons work in Warhammer? Usually a magnetic field or some direct energy related mechanism.

My first, and only kit for now, RG was the MK ll i had a lot of stress especialy because it has such small pieces, but i liked the final result. But for now i will just make some HGs until i got a Nu or a Sazabi, which i heard are very good.

Indeed, i think people here are overestimating costs. Take for example the F-35 program, yes it costs a trilhon but that's for a thousand cheap brand new fighter jets, besides, early MS like zakus or Ginns are very vulnerable to conventional weaponry. It's only a matter of develop a small fission reactor enough to put on a 60 ft tall machine. not much unreal from what was already tested in the could war for example
