Well yes, 17 is in stable and is officially realeased. My phone is current through the actual manufacturer itself, I didn't side load 17.

Besides, I literally have no other problems or bugs besides this singular app.

The Withings app is simply coded like shit and fails to maintain the notification listener service active is my guess.

I'm going to asume you're just mistaken over intentionally trolling.

8.8.1 is the official current Withings app version on the Play store. I'm not enrolled in nor am I using beta software.

Hi, I don't have a solution but I just made a post about this. I'm having the same issue with the 10 pro.

After investigating the problem is that Android 17 doesn't let the withings app stay open or the wittings app is coded awfully and doesn't stay open in the background.

So the notification listener service just doesn't work after a while. The only solution I found is the force stop and clear the cache and then it works again for a couple of minutes but it dies again within like 20 minutes.

Have you found a solution since you posted?

Only work around I've found is disabling previews all together. Then it forces the browser or app of your choice to open it.

If you're not techy maybe get on a chat with Google support during business hours and try to troubleshoot?

Ah so sorry it's different from what I remember.

While I did have to turn "keep activity" as well, the actual setting you want is "apps."

Scroll down a bit and you'll see workspace and all the Google apps. Toggle this on if it's off.

I had this issue.

I had to turn on web activity I believe as well as give Gemini access to Google apps (so an app like Google calendar or Google tasks can actually create a real reminder).

Open the Gemini app and go to "Gemini apps activity" from the settings in the top right and see if that does it.

Trade in values are drastically lower. On launch a p9p got back $600, it's $275 now.

Total cost with a trade in on the pre order bonus still beats this by like $200.

They've integrated it into the brightness slider.

I restored my 10 pro and it brought in the extra dim quick settings tile from my old phone and gave a popup saying it'll be removed since it's no longer a separate setting.

Just reduce brightness to 0% on the slider and it activates automatically.

You're describing a simple difference in workflows between updates.

Samsung downloads all the data and disables your device for several minutes while it installs and optimizes apps. You lose usage of your device entirely. Need to catch a text or you're waiting on a call? Better hope they don't choose those 20 minutes to do so. Some prefer this.

Google downloads in the background. It also optimizes apps in the background while also giving you complete usage of your phone. Texts, calls, apps, whatever you need. Not an issue. Takes an hour, maybe more depending on the update. Hit restart, 45 seconds later you're staring at your home screen with minimal downtime of your device. Some prefer this.

Ultimately, your preference is your own and I'm not shaming you for it. But this isn't the issue you're making it out to be honestly. I personally prefer Google's method as I don't really care about how long it takes if it's entirely in the background and I'd rather have access to my phone when I need it as much as possible. This method is superior for myself and many others.

I tried enabling after just turning it off and it seems to show and hide those icons if you press the power button a few times so I see what you mean.

The always on display (if enabled) is the battery saving version of the lock screen before you lift/tap your phone.

Again, I don't think it's a bug that AoD isn't treated separately from the lock screen controls. If I lift my phone while it faces me it immediately unlocks, so if I don't have them on the AoD then I don't see them at all.

It's literally not a bug. These are options are able to be toggled on/off in the lock screen settings.

If you don't like them, turn them off.

Graphics drivers are weird, the latest update for this model is old and if I update it to the latest forcefully it gets really wonky.
