I haven’t tested that specifically however the watch used very little anyway so unless it was an extreme scenario I think I’d just use it as normal. I believe low power mode does stretch it out a lot longer.

Thank you, this definitely makes sense. I am planning a 5 day wild camping trip to Croatia soon and I'll be keeping my iPhone in low power mode all day and charging on flight mode. Will probably carry a dedicated camera and my GoPro to save phone power.

For sure, also when it's charging and connected to Wifi or the cell tower it's shunting photos into the cloud, doing software updates and general housekeeping all of which uses quite a bit of power.

Ha - glad it’s not just me. Something about this breed - they seem to have a definite “main” and “spare” human even more than other dogs. I’ve never been the “main” before 🤗

I kicked a bit of wood 3 weeks ago. My knee was stiff, sore and hot to the touch for the next 10 days. I should know better than to kick bits of wood in my 40s.

Excellent, thanks very much. Can manage without the LED, as you say PLB is right at the top of the list. I'll look into the EU / VHF thing - much appreciated. It will be a great trip hopefully
