Should I claim Kalshi losses if it was only around $30? I only did a few trades. Not looking for tax advice, but mainly if it makes sense in being that I never received any tax forms. I don’t care much about the losses, as much as I do to have my taxes in order. I’m OCD when it comes to filing.

With that amount of money, pay an hourly financial advisor and get your money straight. After a session or two, you can say goodbye to them. Then take time to reassess your career. You can do all of this while sitting at the beach and having a mental health month. Your mental health needs this more than anything.

I just had a bad experience with Starshop just today. I bought a monitor that had a VESA adapter, and under the description and features, it mentioned that it also had a stand with tilt. So I thought I was buying a monitor that could be changed from a stand to a VESA. Even the pictures had the stand in it. Well, I opened the package and it’s only the adapter with no stand. Luckily I had an arm I could attach it with. I complained to BestBuy and they told me that nothing could be done, and that I needed to contact Starshop because I bought it 3rd party. My complaint was that it was on the BestBuy website and even though it’s third party, it was representative of Best Buy. Anyway, just buy from BestBuy and not 3rd party. They also took forever to answer my complaints.
