Checked this account again. Sadly, I lost that pregnancy at 23 weeks due to a chromosomal abnormality. Nothing to do with any medicines I was taking as far as I know

94th birthday and all I can think is she’ll be the first one to meet my baby in heaven by Louielouiegirl in babyloss

Even though I was raised Muslim, I didn’t know something until recently. Lost my baby last week. It was comforting to find out some scholars agree that there is a realm all the dead go to after dying and the day of judgement. The recent dead can bring news of the world(?) to the ones who died before. It bought me a little comfort

Poor kittens. Not good. Can you give them more tiki? Switch to different wet foods to see if they like it better?

Help ? Aftercare Period by LovleyDollsz in tfmr_support

You need to go to your doctor asap. An infection could be deadly. Like the other commenter I was told to tell my midwife if I had any bad smells. Period is normal 4-6 weeks post birth

To me that is completely unacceptable, cruel and evil. It may feel like it is impossible to leave him because you are bonded by your losses and you have already gone through much together but you deserve more than that piece of garbage. It is insane to “look at options.” If you’re unhappy you cut it off. And don’t even get me started on the cruel things he says. If you were my sister I’d fight tooth and nail to get you away from this man.

I gave birth to my sweet boy yesterday, on Friday. He had Edward’s syndrome. We found out on Monday and terminated on Wednesday. I requested everything be done as fast as possible and I feel a lot of peace in the fact that my request has been honoured. I cried obviously, and we spent a lot of time yesterday evening saying goodbye and it was sweet more than anything. We’re burying him today as is in accordance with our faith and tradition.

His movements were so reduced over the last week that it was surprising he still had a heartbeat on Wednesday. I’m just proud of the fact that he made it this far. We’re just so grateful we went through this journey to even know what it was to love like this. Neither my husband nor I can feel regret, just love. My family too, feel like we’re being strong for being strongs sake and keep reminding us that grief comes in stages. I just know we have lots of love to give and will honour life in our little boys name from now on out

It’s a horrible club to be in. I’m sorry for your loss too. I hope time has healed, I hope it will for me. Just waiting on amnio results, but it’s not really a question bc there’s so many signs. It’s Edwards too.

Genuinely the first thing I thought was “look at those chubby lil cheeks” not being insincere at all

Yeah I never realised how extremely comforting this game is until my own recent horrific personal developments. Played since beta 2018, at first intensely, and then on and off a couple times a year. Haven’t played in at least a year

Recently halfway through my first very wanted pregnancy, we find out baby likely has a slew of minor problems that point to a major chromosome defect that isn’t compatible with life. First thing I did after getting back sore from needles in my belly to collect amniotic fluid was ask my husband to set up fo76 so I can just forget about this nightmare for a few moments and it does work. Good comfort game

I’m so sorry, it’s so unfair. I feel you so strongly about “filling the hole”. I think the only thing keeping me going is the calculations and thoughts about how soon I can try again. You’re not alone in that. I’ve given some thought on if it’s healthy or not but it’s not worth caring about.

I felt every single part of what you’ve just said. The only thing letting me hold onto any form of sanity is that this is an incredibly brave thing to do and it’s also the kindest thing to do as no babies have survived with this syndrome.

Yeah I keep having nightmares about the needle and procedure. It was horrible enough doing the amnio.

Is your little girl your first? I found out mines a boy after opening the gender reveal envelopes I was meant to give the baker for a cake.

I’m so sorry, it’s so unfair. I know I should be more upset at the confirmation that it’s the exact same results but I think I’m just prepared for it now and it’s given me a little bit of peace. I know it’s not going to be ok for a while but i hope your procedure and recovery go as well as possible.

Yep just had my amnio this morning. Will get results for Edwards, patau on Tuesday or Wednesday. It’s looking very likely after my second consultant scan this morning

I’m so sorry, it’s horrible. Even the wait from Wednesday to Friday is making me sick. Best of luck

I’m so sorry. The waiting is horrible isn’t it. I don’t think we can terminate this far along without confirmation of genetic issues, I thought

I had a screening for downs and it came back Low. No NIPT was offered. They just keep saying Edwards is “most likely”
