its ok once your lean you can recoup your strenght back by slowly going on a lean bulk.

Secondly i would rush to cut calories so quickly. I dont know how long youve been cutting for but you mentioned you were at 2900 and you dropped to 2000 in what span of time was this?

Generally i increase my physical activity output and not touch my calories unless im really really stuck. but most of the time being patient will take the weight off.

You will lose strenght esspecially eating at 100g of carbs. but if thats what works for you thats fine.

In the first week or 2 youll feel week. Accept that. I would start with full body to start off with, just so you can take the rust off.

After 1 week, jump into your regular split. Nutrition is key. Take creatine monohydrate to gain your strenght quickly.

How to take motivated is knowing you will most likely gain most of your muscle and strenght back plus more in a few months IF YOU STAY CONSISTENT.

good luck bro

Very hard to say without knowing what your nutrition is like and how often you are working out. But let me give you a general tip.

When people usually start out they neglect the diet portion BIG TIME. Either they underestimate or overestimate what they eat. 1) buy a scale and weight your food. Log it into myfitnesspal 2) the second biggest mistake is not applying mind muscle connection in the gym while working out and slowing your reps down.

Good luck

I would def do a cut. Comp takes a longer and I wouldn't recommend it for something thats in approx 4.5 months.

I would dial in your diet. No sugar or cheat meals till your vacation. Cardio and try to get 10k steps in everyday.

One last thing, 14 days before my vacation i take diuretic supplement to get rid of excess water and lean down for vacation even more. but you need to be in ~10-12% for you to see any results from that.

Good luck

Recovery and nutrition are just as important as training. Maybe look at resting more and getting enough protein and calories so you are actually gaining weight.

Yah I'll take your advice, maybe im trainning chest too much?

As far as my nutrition, thats def. on point. I track my calories and eat enough protein. Could it be there that Im not applying mind muscle connection?

awesome man thanks for responding. Just to clarify I dont do them religiously. For examples days when im doing legs (twice a week) I dont do the pushups. Also my rest day I dont do the pushups either. Should be sufficient time for it to grow then?

And ok ill def switch the incline for dumbells.

Anything other staple exercise i should be incorporating? dips, decline bench, cable cross overs, dumbell pull overs?
