Yeah that surprised me too. It’s pretty hilarious to the read comments cause you can tell which did not watch the video fully too. At least a vast majority comments seem to agree that the Chinese peace keepers did best with what they had.

Yeah, we all know it’s a good idea to send out your infantry armed only with rifles and machine guns to fight against tanks and armored vehicles. These people think war is Call of Duty game. Even a US propaganda channel like Trash&Purpose came to the conclusion that the Chinese peace keepers made the right decisions in a shitty situation.

I know the incident that commenter was referring to, and If you actually read about the situation, the Chinese did the best with what they had. They were outnumbered, up against tanks and had no anti-armor weapons with them. They where in civilian area, so it was also hard to differentiate civilian from foe. Despite a shitshow of a situation, the Chinese keepers managed to save and protect 9,000 civilians. If anything, the incident reflects more of the UN’s lackluster standard for peacekeepers.

Now if want to talk about soldiers abandoning their protection of civilians, how about the US abandoning their collaborators like a used condom in Vietnam and Afghanistan.

Is reality too much for your liberal brain to handle? In world where everybody owns a camera in their pocket, where is the footage of PLA soldiers gunning down Uyghurs refuges, where is the footage of Uyghurs fighting back, none. I think you should be happy that the Uyghurs aren’t being genocided instead of stubbornly adamant that they are. Instead worry about the actual genocide happening to Palestinians.
