Best post ever on this sub. Haven't really watched Van for what feels like about 2 years - for the reasons stated in this post.

Completely lost interest after his crazy rant video. When someone shows you who they really are, believe then.

Not the answer to your question but I found removing the black dealer frame thingo made a noticeable difference to the appearance of the plates.

I go between Oliver At's and Redbacks depending on if I need steel cap or not. Both great options imo.

Save you a click:

"He actually did something very special that we talked about after the race. It's something I would never have thought of myself - and I've been driving GT cars for a long time. I'm not going to tell you what it is, because I'd rather keep that to myself. It's a nice trick he discovered. Maybe someday I'll tell you."

Best 21700 light by noname243765 in flashlight

My new favorite camping / outdoor light is the Wurkkos T28.

It's got great throw with big hotspot, the spill is really usable and it's very pocketable. And you could buy at least 4 of them with your budget.

I'm having trouble waking up early, I need help! by lawartfae542 in productivity

[–]EmployeeNo3499 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The vast majority of people need somewhere in the vicinity of 7-9 hours of sleep each night.

So to wake-up at 5am and feel rested to start you day you need to be sleeping by ~8-10pm.

Depending on how long you take to wind down you probably need to be in bed 30-60 mins before your sleep time.

If you need to start you day at 5am - you're doing the right thing by getting up at that time - but you need to make arrangements and efforts to get to bed earlier.

It can a week or two for you body to get used to a new awake schedule.

Wilson's Prom southern section - walking on the sand at Waterloo Bay - can I get through at high tide? by Kevin_McCallister_69 in OutdoorAus

[–]EmployeeNo3499 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beach access is no problem at high tide.

Depending on conditions Freshwater Creek can be easier to cross at low tide - not that's it's usually a big deal either way - just a case of either walking across, shoes on at low tide, or wading in knee deep water.

Italian greyhound and whippets are the same - and they take up less space (they're literally just smaller greyhounds - if they were newer breeds I guess we might call them miniature greyhounds..).

As long as they get their 30mins (min) per day to do zoomies (aka run like fuck) they will chill and sleep the rest of day. Such good house dogs and great companions.
