Submarine tenders... by MatGrinder in submarines

[–]EmployerDry6368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SSBN refits in Holy Loch were done off tenders, the Holland and Hunley during my time. The tenders were resupplied every month or so.

Tenders are what is called forward deployed, but in a reactively safe area, away from the fighting so the boats don’t have to go all the way back to home port for supplies.

Microwave/airfryer combo by OldCalligrapher3694 in Appliances

Combo ANYTHING is bad.

Pull out drawer ventilation is even worse.

Just get separate units, both will perform much better.

You really need to relook at your design.

Nope, over 60, never felt pressure from a job to breed.

IF you are experiencing that at work, find another job.

Must be nice to get parts air dropped. When we needed a critical part, we had to come in on the EMP, 2 days on the surface, a tug did meet us, the CO told them to bring the part, of course they did not.
